What is Rick Scott waiting for to enter the senate race?

Though I think Scott has a decent chance to win this senate race for the GOP : the election is still 9 months away and according to the new Morning Consult poll on America's most and least popular governors, Scott has a 58 % approval.

I read Scott was waiting till the end of the legislative session to announce.

So I guess he would enter the race after March 9 because it's the last day of Regular Session in Florida.
