Here I was hoping it would actually happen and they'd bring back this for the parade. Sad!

Nah.  They learned their lesson and would have insisted on getting paid in advance, so there's no chance they will ever be a Trump-related event again.  Might have had something similar from a different group of suckers, but those girls won't get conned by him twice.

So he says he loves vets, but won't actually be here for Veterans Day.

I mean, come on, he is going to be in France with other world leaders paying respect to fallen soldiers, including American ones. Not living veterans, perhaps, but ridiculing him for this is really reaching. It's not like he's going to be in Riyadh fondling some orb with Arab dictators.

Fair take. In fact considering it’s the 100th anniversary of WWI’s ending I think his attendance in France is wholly appropriate

Will he be "paying respect" by whining stupidly about our allies, attacking our free press for correctly pointing out that he's a lying jackwagon, or making random offensive comments with poor grammar?

I posted this Orwell quote before and i'll post it again since its relevant here:

We will be spared such a sight for now. It would be incredibly silly if that military march followed defeat in either the House or Senate elections.

I can't speak for our Armed Forces, but I suppose that the senior officer do not want the Armed Services to become butts of sick jokes. I see it enough that the rest of the world recognize that provoking the United States into some military effort is a catastrophic blunder.

LOL.

But I guess at least the screaming anti-male banshee didn’t win. Cheesy

I'm grateful for small favors.

I do think this is something we don't need.

Let's compromise by having the Space Force (!) do the parade in orbit above the planet. We can launch Trump and his Cabinet up there to watch.

Trumpolini could have used the military parade to celebrate the yuggge Republican win in the midterms, or use it to intimidate the incoming Democratic House and Senate.

I look forward to the Republicans doing their typical contortionist routine after Trump insults these wonderful people.
