Somewhat entertaining films; I like how he increases tension between his characters, but the movies are also very disturbing at some beats. However, I would not invite him to a dinner party.

Uh, first of all, he has a really bizarre obsession with the n-word and saying it. He also enabled Harvey Weinstein's behavior for the better part of two decades, and said that Roman Polanski could not have raped a 13 year old girl because the girl "wanted it" and if that was true, then it couldn't have been rape because rape involves violence.

Also, I don't really care if someone's political views are progressive if their personality is garbage and their social views are regressive.

Morally bankrupt dude who makes the worst pearl-clutcher look even more sympathetic with every word he utters.

But he can write hilarious dialogue and once in a while the violence really is funny enough to look past.

Half his films are good,the other half are s%#t.

Good filmmaker, but a well-known creep and, apparently, a nightmare to work with. I'd have no problem with him retiring before his "ten film rule" is up.
