Endorsment Speech From Governor Sandoval

Governor Brian Sandoval-"I am so excited to see Y'all come out to today because I am proud today to endorse the only battle-tested conservative in this race. He will serve in the white house like he serves in the Senate and that is why I am endorsing Senator of Ohio Rob Portman!

Portman will put politics aside and put people first, that's what he did when he proposed legislation after legislation targeted at fixing both the human trafficking crisis and the opioid epidemic.

He needs your support in the Nevada caucus and I hope he can count on it because he will put you first!"

Endorsment Speech from Representative Kirsti Noem

Representative Kirsti Noem-"I am so happy to be back in the state I love and I am even happier to endorse the future president of the United States today. This man has constantly fought for what is right for the people of the United States. I hope that when the South Dakota primary rolls around you will support my good friend; Senator Rob Portman. He is the best for America, South Dakota and Conservative values!"

Rob Portman's First Advertisement Buy

Opioid Epidimic

Bought in New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, and Massachuetts

Rob Portman-"Big cities and small towns across America alike have been hit with a crisis. It may not be as well known or spoken about as terrorism overseas but it affects us just as much."

Rob Portman-"The opioid crisis has taken already too many lives but politicians in Washington rather focus on what will give them an election advantage and not what will be the best for the people and that is why it is still called a crisis even though it is obviously an epidemic.

Rob Portman-"I saw people in my own state of Ohio suffering and that is why I have continued to push bills through Congress targeting fixing the opioid epidemic. As president, I will continue to fight against the opioid epidemic."

Rob Portman Interview with New Hampshire Union Leader

Question-"So many of the other candidates from both parties have already started to try to destroy their opponents records, will you start attacking your opponents."

Rob Portman-"I will never attack my fellow Republicans for cheap political gain, that is not what people what to hear.  People want to hear what affects them and that is what I am doing, that is why my campaign has made human trafficking and the opioid epidemic a key part of my campaign."

Portman's Last Pre-Debate Rally

Columbus, Ohio

Rob Portman-"It has been a crazy year and an even more crazy year to come. Before I get into the nitty-gritty I want to thank you all for your continuing support of my campaign, your friendship means a lot to the campaign and to my family.

I would like to start off tonight with bringing real issues to light that I have seen affect millions of Americans across the country. I have listened to people around the country they are suffering because of both human trafficking and opioid epidemic. The only campaign to have a real plan to battle the opioid epidemic and human trafficking is the Portman campaign.

Earlier this week I told the New Hampshire Union Leader that I will not be attacking my opponents but tonight I have to break that rule because of what Governor Christie said in Nevada earlier today. I used to respect Governor Christie but tonight I have lost my respect, He said these drug addicts look like criminals in God's eyes. These are not criminals these are people who fell into the wrong path and instead of forcing them into jails we must help them.

Before I head on my plane to go to the first debate I would like everybody to know that as president you can lay your children to bed knowing that they are not in danger.

Thank you, Thank you. Off to the Debate!"

Rob Portman-"I would like to start off by thanking Cleveland for the opportunity to debate my fellow Republicans.

I am Rob Portman, I am the senator from Ohio and I am ready to fight for real issues facing real Americans.

I will not fall into the partisan turmoil, I will talk about real issues because if not who will?"

Rob Portman-"I will not legalize marijuana, it is a gateway drug. Our country has people dying in our streets because people got hooked on drugs! You don't just start by shooting something up your arm you start small.

On the medical marijuana side, there is a pill that does the same thing. Continuing, marijuana like cigarettes heightens your risk of cancer, something that doctors don't tell them."

Rob Portman-"ISIS is one of the biggest foreign threats facing this nation today. They are gaining territory, they are making millions of dollars off oil production but President Obama rather not attack their oil tanker. If we cut off ISIS supply of oil, we destroy their money supply. Without money, ISIS will not be able to buy weapons and will not be able to expand."

Rob Portman-"Eight years ago President Obama stood in the coal countries in West Virginia and Ohio and promised us he would bring back good-paying jobs. Eight years later we just haven't seen what Obama promised. Not only in Coal Country but around the country the job growth has been slow and the people who voted for change eight years ago are asking again.

As president, I am going cut taxes for hardworking Americans and lift the burden of government regulations on business around the country. When I make a promise, I keep it!"

Rob Portman-"I am going to fight for the real American and the real issues impacting Americans. Our president is so out of touch he can't even call it the opioid epidemic and he can't call it radical Islamic terrorism. As president, I will balance the budget, lower taxes for everybody, attack ISIS at its source, fight human trafficking and fight the opioid epidemic!"

Rob Portman Endorsement Speechs

Carly Fiorina Endorsment

Carly Fiorina-"I am so proud to support Senator Portman for President today. As a CEO of Hewlett-Paker, I know that the less government is the best government and as president Portman will shrink the government and loosen the job-killing regulations on business that President Obama put in place. That is why I am joining the campaign as the chairwomen of Bussiness for Portman.

Still the bigger reasons I support Portman is his determination in fixing the opioid crisis. Few of you know but a few years ago my step-daughter overdosed and died. It was the most painful year for me and my whole family life. Since then I have continually donated and supported causes fighting the drug epidemic and finally a presidential candidate that is dedicated to fighting the opioid crisis."

Governor Charlie Baker Endorsments

Charlie Baker-"I am so proud to be here in the greatest state in the union and supporting the best presidential candidate in the race. Senator Portman will fight for real issues facing the real Americans from Maine to California.  We need Portman in the white house next year to serve working Americans across the United States."

State of the Union with Jake Tapper interviewing Rob Portman

Jake Tapper-"I would to thank Senator Portman for joining us today."

Rob Portman-"Well I would like to thank you for the chance of being able to talk to the voters, show them my record and show them what a Portman presidency would be like."

Jake Tapper-" Ok let's start off by asking how you fell about the latest developments in the presidential race with the suspension of Chris Christie, Rick Santorum, Mark Dayton and Joe Sestak."

Rob Portman-"Well to start off I would like to thank them all for their time in the race, they all brought a different perspective to the race. Though I didn't always agree with them I do hope they have a happy life after politics. I also would like to thank Governor Christie for his endorsement early this week."

Jake Tapper-"Now, you have focused your campaign on the opioid crisis and human trafficking and many in the political are wondering why?"

Rob Portman-"It is very simple, people are sick and tired of hearing a bunch of fighting and Rhetoric. People want to hear about issues facing communities across the country. I have seen in my own states how people are dying because of the opioid crisis but still, President Obama put politics over people and will not call it the opioid epidemic. People are sick and tired of it, people want to hear solutions and that is what I give them."

Jake Tapper-"I am so sorry we have to cut your interview short because we have to go to commercial."

Rob Portman-"Thank you so much!"

Rob Portman Debate Answers

Portman-"People can't afford four more years of partisan turmoil in Washington. We need a president that will care more about the United States than his own party. We need a president that brings results starting on day one, I am your guy.

When I am in Washington next January I will start fixing our economy, I will start fixing our budget and I will start caring about what real Americans face every day. That is why I have the opioid crisis and human trafficking as main parts of my campaign.

I am going to bring results on day one to hardworking Americans across this country, all I need is your vote!"

Quote

Portman-"Our economy is in one of the worst shapes it has ever been still President Obama decided to wage a war against coal and corporations. The fact of the matter is when you start attacking coal and corporations it doesn't hurt the guy's at the top, it hurts the people working down in the mines and the people running small businesses. That is why one day one I am going to get rid of all the job-killing regulations put in place by the Obama administration."

Quote

Portman-"The fact on the matter is people that are out there don't care if you are the most conservative, frankly if you want that candidate then I am not your candidate. People care about if they can get results, I can.

If you care about a candidate that can get results then I am your candidate. I showed results when I was a congressman in the nineties, I showed results when I worked with Bush, I show results every day as a senator and I am going to show results when I am president."

Quote

Portman-"By the end of the first week of the Portman presidency people will already be able to see massive results.  We are going to pull out of the disastrous Iran deal, we are going to end all the job-killing regulations and we are officially going call the opioid crisis the opioid epidemic and give states proper tools to deal with it. Just think of what the Portman Administration it will look after four years."

Quote

Portman-"I hope now it is clear that a Portman administration will be one of the results. I will put people over the politics of Washington and help people across this country from Maine to California. I hope I can count on your vote next November, thank you Wisconsin!"
