Beyond browsers and the plugins associated with them, my most common piece of general-purpose software is my favorite spreadsheet, Quattro Pro. When I am writing, such as for a class, PowerPoint for slides, Adobe FrameMaker for text and RoboHelp to quickly format simple web pages are my go-to tools.
