Yes.

He had FOUR articles brought against him, not just the two on perjury.  He bribed witnesses and obstructed justice.

If he can't be trusted to tell the truth about a mistake that didn't initially hurt anyone, how can he be trusted on more important matters?

We impeached Nixon for lying under oath; Clinton did the same. What's good for one is good for the other.

Most Republicans voted for impeachment just because Clinton was Democrat. Do you seriously consider that they would have done it that way, if he had been Republican?

You may be right, the GOP may not have tried to take down a Republican President, that doesn't mean they'd have been right to let such a thing go.
