Yes, a good deal of his tracts are filled with misinformation. For instance, he seems to think you can get flogged for preaching Christianity in a Buddhist temple, and that the Catholic Church created Islam or some such rot.

The entire content of the Chick tracts are situations set up specifically such that Chick's views on life are rendered correct.  Almost every tract (and especially stuff like this crap) is one giant straw man fallacy where he presents what he wishes the opposition's arguments were and then refutes them.

Though Chicks claims are very extreme and many would find trouble agreeing with him, in full, many of his claims are believed, in some form or another, even if not as extreme, by a large section of the population.
