I used to think it was John Lennon, but Lupe Fiasco eclipses even Lennon.

Morrissey. His political views combine the worst parts of the far-right and far-left into a single ideology.

He was a Republican and strongly supported Eisenhower, but I don't see anything that would make me think he held any views that were extreme or outside the mainstream.

I mean this is more that Morissey is a cock in all respects.

My answer: 70s era Eric Clapton.

Also, I like the Beatles; but the politics of Taxman cracks me up, especially as it was penned by Harrison, who was by far the most spiritually hippyish of all of them.

Well, she means Hank Jr. who is a buffoon and the least talented Hank.  There is a Hank III who is also very talented like his grandfather, though he seems to have forsaken outlaw country for metal, at least for now.  Hank III rarely talks about politics though he does defend his daddy.  All three Hanks have had constant substance abuse issues.

Probably Pete Seeger or Woody Guthrie or one of those other folk singers who openly affiliated with communists.

Why? She hasn't been very open about much politically other than supporting gay rights.

I mean, this is, like, literally the right answer.

Everyone is saying people with fairly mainstream views, or at least things more harmless than a fascist of sorts who burnt down churches Tongue

I think John Lennon wanted America to go communist, much like Lupe Fiasco. Fiasco also pushes Islamism and "black power" as well though, and endorses 9/11 conspiracy theories.

Idk about the worst politically, but the worst Dutch singers (Frans Bauer, Gordon, Gerard Joling) are amazing politically (all VVD voters).

Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, Willie Nelson and plenty of other country singers are Democrats and/or liberal.
