Cardin, left. I don't object to Manning being a Senator but why tempt fate when her votes would align with Cardin's 95% of the time, and 100% of the time it's the difference in a bill passing or failing?

Don't really agree with her running this early out and this high up but i fully support the endeavor regardless.

Cardin (left). I like Chelsea Manning and I admire her resolve in running, but I don't think she has the political experience to be a U.S. Senator.

Who is unironically supporting Manning??? She's a bit more progressive than Cardin, sure, but she went to prison for leaking classified info. And she has no qualifications what-so-ever other than she's transgender. This is one of the more visible instances of identity politics that I just find laughable.

The one who would be less likely to leak classified documents?

being a senator isn't really a job one needs "qualifications" for IMO. Like I can understand why you'd argue qualifications for the President, cause that job is so overpowered; but being part of a legislature is perfectly acceptable for amateurs.
