Trump grumbles through his 2nd year of being president.

More indictments(Jared, Donald Jr)as Mueller closes in on Trump.

Some tough smack talk between US & NK but no war.

Trump approval rating dips into the mid 20s

Democrats ride a massive blue wave into victory, taking back both house & Senate in the elections.

I’ll present some bold predictions:
1) The Mueller probe will conclude with no more indictments and no evidence of collusion before the Midterm elections.
2) The Dow Jones Industrial Average will reach 30,000 by the Midterm elections.
3) Trumps approval rating will reach 50% by the Midterm elections.
4) The Republicans will hold the house and gain several senate seats in the Midterm elections.

RED WAVE

1) Mueller completely exonerates Trump and his associates by May.
2) At least 6 Democratic congressmen are accused of sexual assault
3) At least 2 Democratic senators are accused of sexual assault
4) Infrastructure Reform is passed with at least 65 votes in the Senate.
5) Trumps' approval rating is at least 45% by May.
6) New special counsel into either the Hillary-Uranium thing or the FusionGPS-Dossier thing.
7) Trump approval above 50% by October
Cool Republicans lead at least two generic ballot polls in the month of October (probably morning consult and yougov)
9) Democrats make a net gain of 2 seats in the house and lose 7 seats in the senate. (RED WAVE).
10) Tulsi Gabbard switches her affiliation to independent after the election.

This but less of the red wave you are speaking of, and trumps approval is 45% by November. Also at least 1 Republican congressman is accused of harassment, to be realistic.

You know what I'll go bold:
Jared gets indicted by Mueller
Paul Ryan goes after entitlement reforms which causes Trump's approvals to hit the low 30's
Pelosi announces around April or May she won't seek the speakership again if the dems win and let a new generation take over in 2019
The Supreme Court strikes down political gerrymandering
Paul Ryan loses to Bryce as dem flip 50 seats
Ted loses to Beto  by around 2-4% due to massive minority/youth turnout along with a suburb flipping in Texas that also flips 4-5 congressional seats
Phil Brendsen beats Blackburn by 1.5%
Brandon Presley beats McDaniels by .4%
Mitt Romney primaries Hatch
Atlas makes a joke about how Trump single handedly rebuilt the Dixiecrats
When time comes to choose a new speaker in a shocking upset the winner and new speaker of the house is Joaquin Castro

2018 will be worse than 2017 for Trump and the GOP now that their Senate majority is fading. They will accomplish almost nothing of significance.

The dems continue to do well in their opposition.

Momentum grows for Trump impeachment. Another measure for impeachment is introduced and more democrats sign on this time.

Gerrymandering struck down in PA.

Democrats regain the House and Senate in a bigger-than-expected blue wave that sweeps away Blackburn in Tennessee while Cruz holds on in Texas by just 6 points.

Ryan and (maybe) McConnell step down from their leadership rolls. GOP reverts back to the establishment after alt-Right Bannonite candidates contribute to the GOP's massive disaster.

Bannon is capital 'F' Finished.

I bolded the ones i'm 99% sure will happen.

1. Muller expnerates Trump completely.
2. Trump approval slowly increases to about 45 by the midterms.
3. The Democratic Congressional advantage dramatically shrinks but remains slight.
4. Atlas explodes when Ted Cruz and Marsha Blackburn win by double digits.

Dems win a slight majority in the house and a 51-49 in the senate.

Trump approval hovers at between 35 and 40 percent.

 - Democrats decisively win back the House, but not the Senate
 - At least three Cabinet Secretaries leave their jobs by the end of the year, at least one of them due to the new developments in Russiagate
 - Kissinger dies, igniting Atlas flamewars not seen since the passing of Margaret Thatcher
 - There are a few major terrorist attacks in the US, both by Islamists and domestic political extremists
 - Luigi De Maio becomes the Prime Minister of Italy after a surprisingly decisive win for Forza Italia in the general election, and American Trumpites hail it as a sign of a 2018 landslide because of course they do
 - I don’t write a screenplay
 - Brockhampton becomes the new big thing in music
 - The Disaster Artists wins at least one Oscar
 - I throw up on New Year’s again! (awkward laugh track)

My predictions:

For America:
- Mueller will come up with indictments against Kushner and Donny Jr.; Trump will pardon them. After that, his approval rating drops to 30%.
- Rex Tillerson will be out
- No major legislation will get passed
- Democrats narrowly win the House back, the senate remains under Republican control with Democrats gaining Arizona and Nevada while losing Montana and Missouri. Cruz beats Beto 51-46%.
- Democrats will gain governorships in Maryland, Nevada, Michigan, New Mexico and Illinois. In Florida, Adam Putnam beats Gwen Graham razor thin with 49-48%. Republicans win the governor's seat in Connecticut. Charlie Baker wins reelection with 59% of the vote.
- Tulsi Gabbard will be the first person to declare her candidacy for president sometime in December 2018.
- Trump then de-facto abandons governing and starts rallies on a weekly basis after the midterms for his reelection.

For Germany:
- Grand coalition narrowly fails by a vote for the SPD base, new elections in April. After that, Merkel will form a coalition with the Greens.

World events:
- Theresa May will get ousted by her party, Boris Johnson will be PM, new elections in early 2019
- A major disaster in Asia following an earthquake
- Major terror attack in Russia
- Assad will delcare final victory in the Syrian civil war
- Civil war in Venezuela breaks out after Maduro rigged the election

Notable deaths:
- Henry Kissinger
- Queen Elizabeth
- Michael Dukakis
- George HW Bush
- Clint Eastwood
- Chuck Grassley
- Walter Mondale
- John McCain Sad

Kristin Gillibrand will be the Democratic frontrunner for 2020 by the end of 2018.

Trump will broker a deal:  Dreamers Stay, Chain Migration ends, original plans for Border Fence go forth.

Democrats will make no further progress in the South, but will hold Sen. Bill Nelson's Senate seat.

Tom Perez will be forced out as DNC Chair after disappointing midterms.

Heitkamp (D), McCaskill (D), and Heller (R) are all re-elected.

Democrats regain Governorships in ME, MI, MD, and IA

The end result of the Mueller investigation will be anticlimactic, pleasing on one.

Rex Tillerson will resign as Secratary of State after the midterm elections.

-Ryan and McConnell will announce that they are going to push for entitlement "reform", while Trump pushes for an Infrastructure bill. Trump starts bashing McConnell and Ryan via Twitter, resulting in Ryan and McConnell abandoning Entitlement "reform" and pushing the President's Infrastructure plan. It fails due to Conservative Opposition from Republicans and opposition from Democrats due to it being a handout to the private sector and not addressing the real issues with our infrastructure. No other legislation passes.

- The Mueller investigation continues and Members of Trump's 2016 campaign staff are indicted and Don Jr. and Jared possibly get indicted as well. Trump pardons his son and son in law while throwing everyone else under a bus. His approval rating then falls to 30%. By year's end, it still continues, giving everyone outside of Trump's staunchest supporters that there was possibly collusion between  him and Russia. Talks of Impeachment start to circulate.

- Tensions increase throughout the world thanks to the actions of the Trump administration but no major crisis or war breaks out.

- The Economy begins to decline in the fall of 2018 and the Stock Market possibly crashes as well.

- Democrats retake the Majority in the House by 2 or three seats. The Senate splits with Democrats gaining two seats Nevada and Arizona while losing one seat in either Missouri, Indiana, North Dakota, or Montana. Paul Ryan (if he's re elected, which most likely he is) not only declines to run as Minority leader, but also resigns from Congress all together like Gingrich and Hastert did after 1998 and 2006 respectively. Nancy Pelosi runs for Speaker again, and wins (although doesn't go unchallenged), but also makes clear that she will not run for re election in 2020. She spends that time finding someone to succeed her as the top House Democrat.  Mitch McConnell barely gets elected as Senate Majority Leader and then also announces that he will not run for re election to the Senate in 2020.
