Celsius?  Which would make it 35 to 36 F.  How far are you from Tokyo?

Slightly above 1 most of the day, but dips to or below 0 during the night.

Back home in northern MN it has been brutal... the other day there was a high of -16F  (~-27C) and the low was -30F (-34C).  The wind chill was below -40F (-40C).  Before that it got to -33F... but what is remarkable has been the multiple days with highs below -10F.  That is honestly just brutal.  Cuz it only stays that cold if it's a truly impressive air mass and there is a wind blowing.  The coldest mornings are during calm weather when it can get to -40... but then it might warm up to 0F by afternoon due to bright, radiant sunshine.  Blinding light and frostbite... the reality of the northern wastes.

Temperatures will remain very cold through the rest of the week before getting closer to normal over the weekend, which for early January is a high around 16F (-9C) and a low around -4F (-20C)

It's been very cold every day since Christmas (anywhere from below 0F to the teens), and I suspect it will continue to remain below freezing, though maybe not quite as cold as it's been.

0ºF (-17ºc) / RealFeel -27ºF (-32ºC) with lots of wind. It's been about this way all week, and will continue through the weekend. There's hope of mid-20s next week.
