The Des Moines Register/Union Leader endorsements?
They're in the news. I'm confused how Walter Jones got a newspaper Endorsement as a very anti establishment candidate.

It came down to a close fight between Christie and Jones, and Jones made the better (or more efficient) pitch. Furthermore, there is no establishment candidate per-se after Romney left, as while Christie is close to occupying that particular slot he is not yet the full-on establishment candidate.

Call me crazy, but I don't think an under the radar independent bid from Wesely Clark is getting over 45,000 people to turn out for a rally in Charleston, West Virginia.

I dunno man I’ve made lots of speeches about the coal issue and think it’s probably one of my best states

I could see it happening after the conventions...but before the conventions, I think your ceiling is what your're claiming in Iowa, around 15,000...mind you those numbers should also be toned down, as Iowa is kind of focused on the caucuses...maybe to around 5,000?

Oh, I’ll change it to 12,000 then. For some reason I thought it was 100k plus.

I think in states like Cali and Michigan the numbers I’ve had are possible but thanks for the info lol I’ll turn it down to 12k. But eh my message in Iowa is that both parties are awful. Who knows maybe I’ll get a few thousand write in votes 😂

I wonder if Clark was targeting me about politicians who don't keep their promises 🤔

He was targeting every major candidate, but when you start seeing winners in the caucuses ain’t finna lie I’ll start delivering personal attacks. Nothing personal guys, but it’s the most realistic 😂😂 Clark has a Trump mixed with John Anderson  vibe in this and I’m neutral about it

I’m surprised Bernie hasn’t endorsed Feingold yet, though.

The veredict is that I won't have full internet access until Sunday, it's a miracle to be online for a few minutes today. In the meantime do feel free to post, I'll retake this right after I get back. (sadly I won't be able to answer PM's)

Question? Who replaced John Kerry in the Senate?

I assume Scott Brown still replaced Ted Kennedy (and that Elizabeth Warren is running for that seat), but who the incumbent in the other Massachusetts seat bugs me, especially as I, being Biden would want the endorsement if that person is a Democrat.

On the other hand, given the climate in 2009-2010, it's entirely possible that person is a Republican, and since I don't remember what the laws of replacing Senators are in Massachusetts, this person might not be up for re-election until 2014.

An answer would be nice...but not required until the start of the next turn, at least.

I may remove my campaign calendar and do it like how Christie is doing with individual days 😕

Biden did something similar, or did you not notice?

Seems like overkill for a ten day turn turn, unless you are trying to work your candidate into an early grave with a heavy campaigning schedule.
