Kind of surprising seeing as how Sanders was previously buddying up to Cuomo and Cuomo and de Blasio hate each other. Perhaps this is a sign that Sanders has already achieved a statesman like position in the Democratic, above petty factions, and everyone wants to be associated with him.

I think he's going to join with whoever is in the best spot to oush for his ideas on a wide scale. De Blasio ans him are both on the progressive wing. But Cuomo, as the Governor, has a much wider reachovwr the state.

De Blasio should've brought a true Democrat to swear into office, instead this fraud is getting more opportunity to hijack the party.

For what purpose is he hijacking the party, you think?

For starters, Bernie Sanders was a official independent through most of his political career, running against the Democratic candidates, even forcing the state party to endorse him. When he entered the primary to run against Hillary Clinton he promised to stay within the party into congress. When Bernie candidacy ended at the convention, Bernie switched party affillation again, clouding up all the cash from the party and never giving it back to the DNC. Bernie and his cronies want to make primaries open, when it threatens the well-being of the party, as they force the party to pander non-Democratic voters. The primary fiasco is why all primaries should only be open to committed members of the party.
The party already has to pander to non-democratic voters. Ever heard of the General Election?
Also, closed primaries are highly undemocratic, as those who may vote for the Democrats (Independents, maybe even some Republicans) don't get a choice in who their preferred candidate is for the party they might support.

I don't know... With closed primaries, Trump might not be President right now.

No matter how much De Blasio kisses Bernie's ass, he will never win over his cultists.
You see, he was once the campaign manager of the Devil incarnate.

Who?  Clinton?  de Blasio was never a campaign manager AFAIK and he wanted to endorse Sanders.  His aides told him to endorse Hillary.

He was Clinton's campaign manager for her first senate campaign.

Elected officials shouldn't let their aides influence them like that.

Would the New York primary have gone down differently if he did endorse Bernie? I doubt it.

He did more than just endorse Hillary. He went to Iowa to campaign for her. But that didn't stop Hillary's campaign manager from calling him a terrorist. Nothing is ever enough loyalty for the Clinton purity trolls.

Endorsing Hillary was a decree set by DWS that all party members were forced and cajoled into following. There's a reason that the 5 individuals who dared to run against Clinton were virtual unknowns (Chafee, Lessig, Webb), failed politicians (O'Malley), or not even a real Democrat (Sanders). Anyone remotely important who even thought about challenging or questioning her great highness Hillary Clinton, and/or her right-hand Woman DWS, was marginalized, criticized, declared irrelevant, called a sexist, and deeply punished. That included Obama, Biden, other women like Amy Klobuchar, and tons of other Democrats. We should thank God that Hillary lost and that DWS was fired. The democratic party is better off without those witches.

If you really believe that DWS went out and threatened every Democratic congressman, senator and governor to support Hillary, then you should make an appointment with a therapist.
I'd really love to be there when she threatened people like Harry Reid, Jerry Brown or John Lewis.

Anyway, since you have it all figured out, can you inform us what was the punishment imposed on the heretics Keith Ellison, Raul Grijalva, and Jeff Merkley?

I should clarify that there were many legitimate Hillary supporters. But DWS's and Hillary's threats, name-calling, and punishments were the reason Hillary had support among 90% of party leaders instead of 50 or 60 percent.

I'm still waiting to learn the punishments Sanders supporters suffered.

Having to settle for Perez as DNC Chair and Pelosi saying "We're Capitalist, and that's just how it is!" and then proceeding to oppose Sanders's Medicare For All Bill were the most visible. But I imagine a lot more would have been seen had the Democrats won control of the Senate and/or House - Denial of a committee chairmanship they would have otherwise had, for instance.

Perez was a darling of the left til the moment he dared endorse Clinton. Now suddenly he is anathema to Nomiki Konst and Cenk Uygur.
And since when it's betrayal to the left that the Democrats support capitalism? If they want a non-capitalist party then I'm sure the doors of the Communist Party are open for them.

And Medicare for All might sound good but it's a non-viable proposition right now. If Sanders makes the numbers of his plan work one day, without Ryan-esque magic asterisks, then we might take his plan seriously.

In short, your "punishment" talking point is pure BS.
