Blankenship wins in teens, I am undecided how I would vote with a slight tilt towards Swearengin.

A former coal mining executive whose failure to implement safety measures killed 29 people

or

One lefty activist.

Yep, definitely a lesser-of-two-evils situation here.

You have a Beto for Senate sticker in your endorsement sticker there. Paula believes in similar things just isnt quite as polished.

regardless Paula Jean Swearengin isnt a murderer so the choice should be crystal clear.

West Virginia will probably vote for a murderer before voting for an environmental activist.

I'd support swearengin strongly ofc, but I'd see this as Lean R unless she goes in HARD with economic populism and campaigns with Bernie, maybe even doing a town hall or two with him.

Nationalizing elections generally do not work for Democracts.

Arguably got Lamb over the line, turned what should have looked like 2013 again into a blowout in Virginia, flipped Alabama. Even in 2016, that arguably was the reason McCrory lost...no backlash over the bathroom bills and, well....

Nationalizing works quite well now, even if the GOP are better at reaping the rewards from it.

I don't understand. If Swearengin did manage to win the Democratic Primary, that would be an amazing accomplishment, especially given how conservative many WV Democrats are.

Lean D, if this match up happens.

This, obviously. Not sure why this is so controversial here. It would be Lean D, maybe Likely D.

Yeah good point, I'd say like 52% - 46% Swearengin with 2% other

If Swearengin overcame all odds and beat Manchin, she'd win the general election in a landslide.
