I know there is already a thread about this but there are some Democrats who overwhelmingly selected Don Blankenship just because they want to make sure that Joe Manchin faces the weakest candidate. So who do you want to win the West Virginia Republican senate primary?

This would be more effective if you asked folks what their party affiliation was in the poll options so we could see how Republicans vote vs. Democrats and Independents.

I prefer Jenkins because he is the most electable and can appeal to Trump Democrats - the ads against Big Don Blankenship in the general election will practically write themselves. Jenkins and Morrisey have to be kicking themselves for not discrediting him sooner.

I wouldn't mind if Blankenship won because it would be a stunning rebuke of Cocaine Mitch and the swamp rats in D.C. Patrick Morrisey is horrifying - I will gladly support Manchin if Morrisey wins the primary.

I want Morrissey to win. Blankenship being a Senator is such a horrifying prospect that makes me sick inside (I still think he would have a 15-25% chance of winning). Morrissey has a little bit better chance to win but he's also not a very good general election candidate (like 40% chance of winning). Jenkins, on the other hand, ticks all my annoying politician boxes and I suspect he'd be the mild favorite against Manchin.

yeah i don't care if it says Republicans only.

Most Republicans on here probably want Jenkins, since he's widely considered the most likely to beat Manchin. I think his chances are a bit overrated, though, and Blankens***'s are underrated, unfortunately.

The only County Don Blankenship would have a chance at winning is Grant County.

Jenkins is my first preference. I can live with Morrissey, though.

I'd support Manchin over Blankenship

Jenkins, obviously. I don’t think beating Manchin will be easy, but he could at least make it a Tossup, unlike the other two candidates who would probably go down in flames. Also, most Blankenship votes in this poll are from Democrats (you should have added a “not a Republican” option).
