Nope. Could care less. Handel will be defeated eventually when GA-6 becomes Fairfax-lite.

At this rate he'll probably win the seat next year anyway.

lol no. There is nothing particularly sympathetic about Ossoff, nor is he particularly deserving of a seat in congress. I honestly do feel sorry for Hillary though.

I would have felt sorry for her if her post-election behavior had been less pathetic and self-absorbed.

I'd honestly already forgotten about him. I would've preferred he had won, but I can't say I feel sorry. There are others I feel sorry for, namely including Hillary Clinton. I've only recently pushed myself to watch Hillary's concession speech in its entirety. I felt physically sick preparing myself to watch and the same actually watching. No matter what ever happens, I will never view this country the same way. Having voted for Donald Trump, in my view, is unforgivable. I'll leave it at that.

I didn't watch it until late December, and I thought that was late!

Same, except it would appear that number is inching ever-upwards. C'mon people, own your votes from 3 years ago.

Atlas, March-June 19, 2017: Ossoff is a terrific candidate who will be President one day. Ossoff 2028!

Atlas, June 20, 2017: I always knew Ossoff was a terrible candidate! We'll never be seeing him again.

Atlas, 2019-January 2021: Ossoff? That guy who lost to Karen Handel? What a joke, Georgia is the worst recruitment failure of the cycle for Democrats. I guess Perdue will easily get another term.

Atlas, January 6, 2021-Present: I always knew Ossoff was a terrific candidate who will be President one day. Ossoff 2028!

The takeaway here is that candidate quality ultimately takes a backseat to the political circumstances of a given time.

To be completely honest, I was completely done with Ossoff after 2017 and thought we pissed away the seat by nominating him. Very pleased to be wrong and I'll happily eat all the crow I deserve.

Pfft don't bring rational thoughts onto this forum! More to the point, how dare you try to be reasonable here!? There's no room for that. Atlas is all about hyperbole: treating candidates like gods, building up hopes accordingly, & then complaining when said candidates fail to meet every single expectation which has been wildly set!
