At 30 years old he'd been briefly an overhyped "rising star", and now if mentioned at all he's mostly mentioned in "lol, Ossoffed" context.

No. Not only did I not like his politics, but I also disliked the way he packaged and presented said politics. He gave off an air of holier-than-thou self-importance that I found detestable.

He ranks supporting Israel as among his issues of top importance so I am going to say no regarding this DINO.

Yeah, he was great for a Democrat. Would definitely vote for him over the wingnuts.

Nope. I'm glad Handel won.

No. Not only did I not like his politics, but I also disliked the way he packaged and presented said politics. He gave off an air of holier-than-thou self-importance that I found detestable.

Along with all of those celebrities he brought in. Really, I hold the belief that to the average American working class voter, they at the least don't care about celebrity endorsements and at the most don't like them and see them as the elite.

This. I almost never feel sorry for losing political candidates, I'd rather feel sorry for everyday people who are going through tough times than some rich politicians.

It's pretty funny how many Dem hacks went from rolling out the red carpet to the Oval Office for him to dismissing him as a horrible no good pariah overnight, lol.

I don't have anything against Ossoff, but I usually don't spend time feeling sorry for losing House candidates.

I love this idea that you can run far-left candidates in wealthy suburban Republican areas and win...

A little in retrospect.

I mean the rhetoric of Handel vs Moore was almost nil, and yet Jones won by being unabashedly progressive while Ossoff seemingly had to walk on eggshells.

Kinda hard not feel a little sorry in that regard.

That said, I feel much sorrier for Quist or Kander.

Random GA "token opposition" candidate who did fairly good given the district he was running in, but not based on irrational optimism from Dem hacks presuming he's a "rising star" because he's young and fairly moderate.

Regardless, I don't get in the habit of feeling sorry for rich politicians.

Actually, people who stick their nose in the air up at the thought of Millennials are truly the worst.
