Right, I have the results ready and I'll be writing through the afternoon. Heads up, gentlemen, **** will hit the fan most violently, and two players have reached a game over.

Dear God, Lumine. I'm going on a brief vacation, so I'll have spotty access for the next 24 hours. If I die....

Worry not, Dkrol, there will be ample time to switch characters or welcome new ones after the results are in.  I'm not saying who died (at least one player did), but the nature of these game overs means the game will take a turn in a radical new direction.

Certainly. Vercingetorix will be yours in the next turn (52 BC, Part II).

If someone chooses Pharnaces II to help me stay alive, that'll be great.

I promise to reveal what Catullus has been making of all these developments in a few recently discovered fragments once I have finished, ahem, translating them!

Those in purple, whereas green is controlled by Ambiorix and the Belgian tribes. The most dark shade in southern Gaul are the Romanized areas under the control of Caesar and his armies, and the lighter shade across Gaul is the Gallic tribes now allied to Caesar.

Do I control the dark blue in Spain and Portugal?

Yes, Pompeius the Younger (may just call him Pompey Minor for short) has the loyalty of the Pompeian commanders in Spain, plus Cisalpine Gaul and Illyria as the "legal" replacement for Caesar (and Umbria and Picenum as his father's inheritance). I decided to paint him and Caesar in a different color than the land under Senatorial control to showcase the relative influence and power of both men.

I'd be fine calling him Pompey, Jr. That may not be historically accurate, though. Tongue

Have fun. The turn crisis are brief because this takes over a smaller period of time, this turn only covers the second half of 52 BC and not an entire year.
