That's actually right, he's not a hick.  He comes from a rich Northeastern political dynasty.  He was a witty genius when he ran against Ann Richards, and now he looks like a clueless retard.  Whichever PR aide that told him to put on a folksy village idiot image needs shooting in the face.

He is a stupid aristocrat, not a stupid hick.

It truly is sad that, of your top 4 candidates, 2 were less articulate, one was gaffe prone and one was an empty suit pretty boy.  I mean, of the top four guys you had, none of them were really better than Bush in the oratory department.

The phrase "this part of the world" is a fairly common phrase to use in the part of the world where I come from (Houston, TX)  Smiley
