The 2018 North Dakota Senate Race seemed competitive to begin with, but a backlash against the trade war and Cramer's controversial comments in October ultimately let incumbent Senator Heidi Heitkampf win a landslide re-election.

Cramer outdid himself, with a bonafide Akin moment in September.

It's amazing that this map represents a 15% margin of victory for the Democrats. I am astonished by the ability of Democratic candidates to run up massive vote totals and margins of victory from just a select few counties.

At the end of the night, Debbie Wasserman Schultz led Chris Christie by 4,523 votes. After a recount, it is found that Christie won by 156 votes, the narrowest in Florida history.

In a controversial election, Roy Moore defeats Xavier Becerra by a margin of just seven votes.

This is an interesting map. This what the map looks like for the 2018 gubernatorial race in Georgia if only absentee ballots were counted.

What would the margin be here?

Ah... just came back from the future. It was a hassle, but I brought something with me.

The 2018 Senate election in Vermont has proven the 2016 trends affect even this Northeastern state. By 2024 the rural areas have trended Hard R and a low-energy Bernie re-election campaign is defeated by an energetic Corey Parent.

(Scenario appeared after memeing of the VT 2018 swing map in the Discord)

Ugh Franklin Co still red, but I know it's a tough flip

What are the percentages?

The Democratic candidate wins by around 3%. Not sure how the exact numbers would be.

Actually, its not something that can simply be obtained by messing around with real election results.
I made some arbitrary and random choices in this.

This map is of an inverse of the county swings between 2004 and 2008. Im probably going to do the same but with the county trends between those years now

2018 house election results by county. Note: Results of ME-02 reflect the results pre-instant runoff voting. I got the results from the nytimes site.

2016 election, uniformly swung to the extent that Clinton wins a majority of Counties.

What happened to the map???

You don't have a backup copy or something?

I would have been really interested in seeing that.

 2008 house election results

 2010 house election results

The map for 2006 is almost done except for Maine because they don't have county level results for congress and having to do the math takes forever.

Shoutouts to megameow for helping me with a lot of the district lines and what not
