J. Geils Band are only nominated because someone in high standing wants them in the rock hall. They are one of the least deserving bands to be nominated (The least would be Sir Douglas Quintet, the least deserving inductee is Percy Sledge.)

This group is known for the songs "Centerfold" and "Love Stinks". They were a blues band at first but got famous in the early 80's thanks to those songs.

I can't think of a clever question. I'm not feeling well.
