Yes, I hate America!

I didn't change economically so much as I actually learned what things meant.

The PC overestimates my conservativeness significantly.  I still don't trust corporations - most of them are full of crooks!

I bent somewhat libertarian since I came here, but not much.  I used to be a lot more populist in earlier years and was actually anti-abortion.

I think I would've been about a -5 -5 when I started here; plus I was 18 and from Davenport Iowa; I thought Miss. would got to the Democrats and I supported Dean but then changed to Edwards at the last moment.

I think both what has been known of me on the forum has changed, but also myself-i'm a lot less informed about America (and less anti-american; i'm not pro-Australian instead), i'm a lot less economically pragmatic, and i'm socially not as liberal as I was. On core issues, I'm still a hardcore leftist, but on pretty much everything but a handful of issues, in economics and social terms, i'm pretty close to the center. Also, in foreign policy i'm now pretty much a hawk re: Australia's interestes, although I do think the US military is engaged too much and that too much is spent on it. Well of course you changed a lot.  Your whole persona when you started here was fake. Smiley

Boss Tweed also changed a lot; he went from being 38 to being 13 (I still think he's 38).

And opebo changed his whole persona also, only in his case, unlike you presumably, the new one is the fake one.

You also decided you'd start voting Republican and that the media is full of evil liberals.

True Dem.  When I mentally divide the Atlasian Senate into left and right, True Dem goes into the right column.

I thought the populist PC score you got from way back was because you didn't fully understand the questions.  Or were you really a populist when you first got here?

Well I've always been pretty conservative but I've become more pro-trade/pro-business over time.

I felt I've changed somewhat...but certainly nothing compared to the other people on this board.

My PC scores have remained between +2 and -2 Socially, and +6 and +8.5 Economically.

Currently -2, +6...I'm becoming an evil liberal!  Wink

I have also become a much faster typer since I first posted here.  Back in May 2003, this message would ahve taken me about a minute to type: now, much less time.

Lunar, Kodratos and Beef have changed as well. They went from moderates to total hacks.

I've swung to the right. Used to be Labour, now Conservative. Still a Democrat of course, but more centrist with tactical support for moderate Republican senators and so on. Oh and still a major Nixon fan Smiley

Still economically left-of-centre, I've veered to the right slightly on social issues. On defence/national security and foreign policy, I'm probably more of a 'hawk' these days - it's on these issues that I'm not so moderate

Despite minor ideological shifts, party loyalty has remained constant and I'd always think of myself as a pragmatist

Does Lunar still post? I didn't notice he became a 'hack,' per se.

Lunar = no, still the same
Beef = way more Democrat now than before the election, but not a hack
Kodratos = always worthless

Some of the positions I take are not because I actually believe them, but because they're fun to defend. Smiley

My only major change has been in personality. I used to be so unhurtful and nice and now I'm so biting and bitter... Sad

However, many other posters have changed much more than me in personality, such as trolls that have become all right and vice-versa.
