Breaking News, Part 2

Increase of the tensions between Washington and Moscow

The U.S. military operation that killed Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in Syria has also brought, as a result, an increase of the diplomatic tensions between the United States and Russia since Syria is one of Russia's greatest allies. In fact, Vladimir Putin worries about the potential that his ally Bachar el-Assad would be toppled, which would deprive Russia of its economic and strategic interests in the Middle East.

OOC: This is a good sign of your potential as an unbiased moderator...though I wish you would elaborate more. As a result, Brown will stay in. A schedule will be out either Saturday or Sunday.

Pearcy:Rubio and me will prevent a nuclear war
FOXNEWS.com

On Fox News Sunday in a interview with Vice President Pearcy at the Number one observatory center.

Stephen Pearcy promised that President Rubio is not trying to start World War III and that's not what they had plan.

Pearcy said that "Our mission in Syria is almost done and that him and Rubio know what they are doing and that he is trying to avoid another Cuban Missle Crisis standoff and that they are working for a peaceful solution to this deal.

Marco Rubio 2020 : America First
Schedule from August 2-August 12 2019, Part 1

August 2
-Presidential duties in Washington D.C.
-President Rubio holds a press conference at the White House where he's asked about the increasing tensions between the United States and Russia after the Operation Phallanx that killed Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, making it clear that this operation was not targetting nor the Assad regime nor Russia but that this operation only targeted ISIS and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. He also enjoyed this occasion to declare that defeating ISIS is in the common interests of both the United States and Russia and that it should be Russia's top priority instead of arming the Assad regime through weapons aimed at striking the Kurds who made a great contribution to our succeses against ISIS. So there is absolutely no reason to trigger a war between the United States and Russia.

August 3
-Presidential duties in Washington D.C.

-President Rubio meets with French President Emmanuel Macron at the White House where they discuss issues they agree about such as economic ties, trade, democracy, human rights, freedom of religion, counter-terrorism, etc.

August 4
-Presidential duties in Washington D.C.

-President Rubio holds a meeting with his National Security Council with whom he discuss issues like North Korea's nuclear crisis.

-President Rubio holds a dinner with a bipartisan group of senators with whom he discuss issues such as child tax credit reform and the adoption of a new strategy in Afghanistan and of a plan to develop renewable energies.

August 5
-Presidential duties in Washington D.C.

Schedule for Sherrod Brown-Summer blues

August 2, 2019

Meet Voters in Alford, Iowa (With Tom Vilsack)

Speech at Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa (With Elizabeth Warren)

Any Child who chooses to should be able should be able to go to the university of their choice tuition free, without having to take out a loan, which is why as President, I will direct the Department of Education to set aside money for a college tuition program for children who cannot afford to pay, with no strings attached It's like Pell Grants, only with more money then has ever been attached to them.

Meet Voters in Belle Plaine, Iowa

Meet Voters in Vinton, Iowa

Speech at the UNI-Dome, Cedar Falls, Iowa (With Elizabeth Warren)

While I applaud Senator Rubio for taking out Abu Bakr-Al Baghdadi, the fact is he's risking a nuclear war with Russia. If Vladimir Putin wants to retaliate, the first thing he will do is launch an ICBM equipped with a nuclear warhead at a major American city, like New York, Washington D.C, San Francisco or Los Angeles, and there's really no diplomacy on earth that can stop him. This catastrophe will be on your head, President Rubio, and yours alone.

Speech in Waterloo, Iowa

For too long Republicans have been targeting the arts, and public broadcasting. PBS and NPR have been on the target list of Republicans for years, many of whom would like to see them disappear. Well, as President I will fight to defend the arts, from Phantom of the Opera, to Elmo, expanding the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting's budget and promoting American art abroad.

The Daily Wire: The Ben Shapiro Show: August 2nd, 2019:

"...so, now that we've discussed the whole issue on the Democrats, I have something to announce. Rubio failed in his promises. Many people want to say it was the GOP's fault for not repealing Obamacare. No it wasn't. It was Rubio's. Rubio is not that great a president. Now, why do I say this? I'd like to say that I am running for the presidency of the United States of America as a republican and get this country back on track because honestly, the establishment tried and failed. It's Time for change.

Ben Shapiro For President 2020

1st scheduled stop: Concord, New Hampshire on August 5th.

I only have time for a summary

Baldwin continued her campaign by focusing extensively on California and South Carolina in an attempt to boost her support there. She also spent a day in Iowa, declaring the beginning of a statewide bus tour that would last well into next week I  order to bring her message to as many voters as possible. She also shored up her campaign start by managing to recruit several state chairs.

She also attended an event run by the Harvey Milk Foundation in San Francisco, declaring that every vote she won was due to the ground Milk broke by being the first openly gay person to be elected to office in the United States.

August 2-12th (Too lazy for full write up)

Tulsi Gabbard spends the week in two states.: From August 2nd to August 8th, she tours Nevada while from August 8th to August 12th she fly's to Charleston, South Carolina and organizes ground operations in the state. In Nevads, Gabbard holds events and rally's throughout Clark County in which she declares she is "the most progressive person in the race" and "the only person in the race who will take on the millionaire and billionaire class". She received some more endorsements from smaller Hispanic and White Labour Unions. She also spent time in Washoe county and in Reno and at a rally declared that she would "bring back our boys from overseas" and promised to win the election handily, something only she said she could do against Marco Rubio. In Reno also she talked of need for compassionate but strong borders calling for a increase in spending for the borders while working to legalize existing illegal immigrants in the state and country. She left for South Carolina and has thusly spent her time so far in Southern Carolina in the Charleston area setting base and building up support. Seeing a weakness with minority voters, she meet with many prominent black interest groups and called for "mass police reform" in a Charleston rally.

I don't recall endorsements for Harkin, Cortez Masto, Shaheen or Clyburn being announced anywhere by either Game Manager.

Also, Hollings would be 98 by this point. Odds are he'd be deceased, therefore he isn't a realistic endorsement.

So, Ben Shapiro started his campaign by distorting the truth about my record and my accomplishments as President and claimed that I failed in my promises. This is just not true.

Well, let me remind you that I promised to cut taxes, to repeal Obamacare and to defeat radical Islamic terrorism. During my presidency, we managed to repeal Obamacare thanks to the Vice-President Pearcy's tie-breaking vote. Let me remind you that we adopted the biggest tax cuts in our nation's history, which is growing the economy and bringing the unemployment rate down, that we are about to defeat ISIS and that I recently ordered the successful military operation that killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

And let me ask you Mr. Shapiro, where were you when we repealed Obamacare? Where were you when we adopted the biggest tax cuts ever? Where were you when we killed Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi? You were editing at the Daily Wire and you were podcasting The Ben Shapiro Show. So it is irresponsible to question our accomplishments and to demean America's successes in the last four years. Mr. Shapiro does not have the experience to lead this nation and to accomplish anything as President. So the choice for this election is untested leadership or proven leadership that reinforced our economy, our national security and our society.

[Crowd cheers, applauds and chants USA! USA! USA!]

-National security policy speech in Norfolk, Virginia with John McCain

-Speech in Virginia Beach, Virginia in response to Sherrod Brown's attacks Sad

Once again, Senator Brown demonstrated his lack of foreign policy knowledge and leadership. He claimed that the operation that killed Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi risks of triggering a nuclear war with Russia. I think you forgot, Senator, that this operation was not against Russia nor it was not against Bachar al-Assad and Syria. This operation was targetting ISIS and Baghdadi and succeeded in killing him. Defeating ISIS is in the common interests of the United States and Russia and should be Russia's top priority in the Middle East instead of providing the Assad regime in weapons aimed at striking the Kurds who made remarkable contributions in defeating ISIS. So there is no reason for Russia to trigger a nuclear war against the United States or anybody in the world. And actually Vladimir Putin ordered the withdrawal of Russian troops from Syria, so there is no risk of any clash against the Russians in Syria.

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.

Now ISIS is eradicated in Iraq and thanks to the courage and determination of our troops and our allies, we will totally defeat ISIS in Syria and wherever they are. That's how we're going to restore international security, freedom, stability and peace, which is something Senator Brown will not have the ability to do with his weak foreign policy agenda that will aweaken our military and our security measures. Let's keep going in the right direction and radical Islamic terrorism will be defeated.

Ben Shapiro Rally in Concord, New Hampshire; August 5th, followed by speech in Des Moines, Iowa and Barnstorming in Cleveland Ohio

Des Moines, Iowa (Attendance: 2,500)

So this is Des Moines. I admit, as a Jew, I was a bit afraid of coming here. However, I sucked it up. Now, many say that Marco Rubio is helping the economy. I doubt that. You see, why he has recently given tax cuts, these tax cuts are not enough. And it seems that Obamacare was repealed. But may I ask, have you released small businesses on the economy? have you removed the Federal Homosexual Marriage law? Have you shrunk the involvement of the Federal Government in the economy? May I ask you about Lazziez Faire? Well, if you don't know what it is, then let my give you a simple definition, Little Rubio. Lazziez Faire is having little to no involvement in the economy by the government. It is allowing the market to choose for itself, not the government. You still subsidize failing companies, giving Taxpayer money to a company that is crumbling. The market said no to these companies and they should be allowed to flop.

Now, let's make this clear about the Military, I know ISIS is on the run, but what we need to do is wipe out the entirety of it. What we need to do is support Israel. Allow Israel in this coalition. If the other middle eastern countries don't like it, tough. We also need to curb not Russian expansion, but Chinese expansion and North Korean Aggravation. Both those nations need to learn not to mess with the US, otherwise, we may see a Chinese attempt to destroy Japan or North Korean invasion of the South. There is also Iran. Sanctions are not the way to go. It hasn't worked the last few years, it's not going to work right now. Iran must be taught not to use Nuclear weapons. Have the entire Middle East strangle them until they give in. Force them into ending their nuclear program. Force them into Liberty by blockading them from trade entirely. May I ask you Rubio, do you intend to do these things? If not, then please, allow someone who isn't an establishment politician to take charge.

Thank you, Des Moines. I Love this place and how it has been these past few Minutes and I want to say that I hope to become the Republican Nominee in 2020!
Cheers of Shapiro erupts as Shapiro walks off the stage.

President Rubio's response to Shapiro during a rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Mr. Shapiro doesn't know anything about the economy and he is so disconnected from reality that he has no recollection of th economic progress we are doing. The only one among us who was in the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship is me. I know what free market is and I know what it takes to create jobs and grow this economy. That's why in the last four years, we reduced the size of government by cutting taxes for all Americans and for all businesses across the country, by lowering our corporate tax rate from 40 % to 20 %, by abolishing Dodd-Frank, by lowering the cost of doing business in America and by promoting oil drilling and energy independence, by promoting trade and by reducing wasteful government spending. So to answer your question about whether I released small businesses on the economy, yes I did and that's why the unemployment rate is declining. So I don't think it's wise to lecture me about free market, this is a value I am whole-heartedly promoting and that's how our economy is stronger.

When it comes to foreign policy, you asked me if I intend to support Israel, to curb North Korean agression, to stop the Iran nuclear threat and to entirely defeat ISIS. Yes of course I do and there are some of these things we already did in the last four years. We reinforced sanctions against North Korea and against their international firms that transferred money to their regime in order to fund the construction of nuclear weapons. Through these sanctions, we cut North Korea's crude oil supply, a source that is the life-blood of any modern military. We reinforced our military presence and arsenal in the Pacific and we multiplied our military exercises with our allies in the region. And Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe seeks to launch a referendum on whether the 9th article of the Japanese Constitution should be modified, which would allow Japan to militarize itself in the context of the North Korean threat and of China's expansionist policies. When it comes to ISIS, we are heading in the right direction, ISIS is totally eradicated in Iraq, we almost freed all of Syria from ISIS' terror and we killed Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. The job is almost done. When it comes to Israel, we supported Israel throughout the last 4 years just like we will support them in the next 4 years. You said that the sanctions are not the right way to go and that it did not succeed? You are wrong. By abolishing Obama's Iran nuclear deal and by reinforcing sanctions against them, we deprived Iran of the necessary capitals to develop nuclear weapons and we diminished their ability to sponsor terrorist groups around the world. They need to listen to the concerns of their people by using their uranium to grow their economy, not to develop nuclear weapons. Together, along with our allies around the world, including in the Middle East, are increasing pressure on Iran in order to force them to give up. If you don't understand the effects of these sanctions on their economy and their military, you have failed the Commander-in Chief test and demonstrated your foreign policy inexperience.

And let me tell you this, Mr. Shapiro, we should not judge a President by his height (referring to Shapiro's « Little Rubio » statement) and you know, with due respect, you're even smaller than me (since Shapiro is 168 cm tall while Rubio is 175 cm tall). James Madison, the fourth President of the United States was 1.63 m tall and yet he managed to lead America to victory against the British Empire in the War of 1812. And by the way, actors like Al Pacino (1,7 m) and Dustin Huffman (1,67 m) are not so tall but they are still great actors and they won Academy Awards. And remember that in the Bible, David succeeded in defeating a giant warrior like Goliath despite being smaller than his opponent.

So let's get serious and focus on issues. If we keep pursuing the strong and bold leadership we are orchestrating since the last 3 years, America will head into the brightest future we have ever known, we will get to full-employment thanks to free market and we will get to peace through strength with a strong military, ISIS' total defeat and the curb of North Korea's and Iran's nuclear threat.

Thank you God bless you. God bless the United States of America.

[Crowd loudly cheers and applauds]

Ben Shapiro Speech in Minnetonka, Minnesota on August 12th (Attendance: 5,000)

Hello, Minnetonka! I have been asked again and again and again to respond to the attacks from Rubio but I won't. The reason I say this is that I'm not as petty as Rubio. I won't use a biblical reference like he did. That just breeds controversy. I was just stating my case and now that it's been made, I would like to extend an Olive Branch to Rubio. No more attacks between either of us. However, I must bring in the projections that experts have given. Experts in the stock market and the economy have studied your program and agree on one major thing. Sure, everything may be going great right now, but soon it will all go downhill. What happened in 1992? After Regan's successful tax cut economy? You're right, the economy crashed. What Rubio is doing is allowing the government to allow this to happen. I recommend raising the corporate tax rate to 24% may be unpopular for a time, but it will allow the economy to continue much longer than the projected 2022 burst.

For Foreign Policy, I ask if anyone remembers what we did to Japan to try to curb their expansion in Asia during 1940? Anyone? I'll answer. We sanctioned them, embargoed their oil supply and have a significant force that made them strike preemptively at Pearl Harbor. If you understand what I'm saying, then you must realize: Sanctions and Embargoes Can not, will not, and should not work and be the way we deal with issues like China, North Korea, and Iran. Constant show of force, such as military exercises on the border and constant acts of us immediately blockading any islands that China make in the South China Sea to halt their expansion. We need to show North Korea we aren't afraid of them and surround them with enough armory that war would be near suicide. Remember, North Korea is a hermit Nation who depends on one major weapon: Nuclear weaponry. Cutting off their crude oil will stop their army, yes, but what about their nuclear weaponry? How can sanctions and Embargoes get rid of that?

Now, for the ISIS part, I'll elaborate. Yes, ISIS is on the run. Yes, it's on the backpedal and is doomed. 100%, we can agree on that. However, how can we be sure that if we ever withdrawal troops that ISIS will stay down? we need to keep a strong presence of at least 72,000 US troops stationed in the middle east at all times to ensure something like ISIS never rises again. If we leave after ISIS is defeated, they'll come back once the power vaccum overtakes another nation, like Turkey with Erdogan. And I must ask, what about the kurds? they have done more than enough in helping us fight ISIS. Shouldn't they be allowed their own Nation? or does the chance of Alienating our allies in the region to great to give a long prosecuted people their rightful land? You can answer that, Marco.

I must ask another question. The 1995 Jerusalem Embassy act. Did you pass it, or did you constantly let it slide? You probably went the "safe" way and didn't pass it. Well, let me say this. By doing this, your "support" for Israel is not real. Jerusalem has, is, and will always be the capital of Israel. As President, I promise to pass this act. In fact, as president, I promise to make sure our nation continually booms and will never be questioned again." Crowd cheers for a minute until it goes quiet again

"Finally, you say that I have no experience. Well, mister President, I ask you this biblical reference. I know what I said about not doing one but I decided to make this one. Was David a simple Farmhand when God declared him the King of Israel? or was he a career politician like you? It was the former and guess what, David went on to become Israel's greatest king. So, with this argument, who is David and who is Goliath? I hope to become that for all you great citizens. May god bless you and the entire United States of America!" Cheers continue as Ben Shapiro walks off the stage

Ben Shapiro speech on Presidential Policy in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on August 15th
Cedar Rapids, Iowa (Attendance:3700)

"Hello, Cedar Rapids! How are you this fine August day?" Cheers erupt "That's great. These past few days have been relatively quiet, haven't they? Well, I'll be the first to break the silence. I have received one major question above all others in these past few weeks: Mr. Shapiro, if you won the primaries and the election, how would you treat bills being signed into law? Well, I have a very important answer for that. I promise, as President, I will not sign any bill longer than 3 pages and in Simple language. The American people reserve the right to read about a new law of theirs. Usually, they can't know because it's too long and is not even written in the King's english. I'll change that for good. I also want to say something else.

Are you tired of the monopolies that Comcast and AT&T have?" Crowd chants "YES!" "Well, may I say, I plan to get rid of monopolies such as these. These companies will receive a 25% tax increase for the less competition in their areas. Once a company has competition from at least 4 other ones, then that company will lose the tax increase. This will prevent monopolies from occurring and finally, the free market can decide for themselves which is best. That is all I have to say for now. But know this, during the debates, I want you all to root for me!!! May God bless Cedar Rapids, May god bless the great state of Iowa and may god bless the United States of America! Good Night!"

Crowd chants Shapiro as he leaves the stage.

I don't recall endorsements for Harkin, Cortez Masto, Shaheen or Clyburn being announced anywhere by either Game Manager.

Also, Hollings would be 98 by this point. Odds are he'd be deceased, therefore he isn't a realistic endorsement.

Marco Rubio's response to Justin Amash in Houston, Texas

Justin Amash doesn't seem to know how to count nor he seems to know the rules of the procedure of the adoption of a law in the Congress. He knows very well that the adoption of a bill requires at least 51 votes in the Senate. So if we tried to repeal Obamacare in 2019, it would not have worked because with the NAY votes of John McCain, Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins, the procedure to repeal Obamacare would not have passed. You know why this procedure has passed? Because we gave these efforts before the 2018 midterm elections, when we had 53 Republican senators. Despite the 3 GOP NAY votes, Vice-President Pearcy came to the Senate and casted the 51st vote required. No wonder that Rick Perry has said « President Rubio kept his promises and anybody who says otherwise is a liar, is lying. »

Congressman Amash doesn't seem to know anything about trade. He doesn't know that the best way to create jobs is not to isolate but to make America the best place in the world to do business. No wonder that he voted against the HR 9 - Income Tax Deduction for Small Businesses  that established an income tax deduction of 20 percent for small businesses in 2012 while the unanimous majority of Republican congressman voted for it in order to champion small businesses. Do you know why Obama's TPP was unfair, because we had the highest corporate tax rate in the industrialized world while countries like Singapore had the lowest one, which was an advantage. So we made TPP fairer for Americans by cutting our corporate tax rate in half, which increased our competitiveness in the world economy and made America the best place in the world to do business. We also did that by cutting taxes for manufacturing businesses, which brought manufacturing jobs back home and made America a better friendly environment for manufacturing business, thus boosting our manufacturing industry. Nothing of this was inclued in Barack Obama's TPP. When it comes to being anti-growth, I think Congressman Amash knows a lot about it since he also voted Present on a bill aimed at approving the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline while this had the objectives of boosting job creation and of accelerating America's path to energy independence. Voting Present doesn't mean yes and it doesn't mean no. It means maybe.

Let me remind you Congressman, that Putin ordered the withdraw of Russian troops from Syria, so there's no risk of war against Russia (http://www.cnn.com/2017/12/11/middleeast/putin-russia-syria-withdrawal/index.html). When we discovered Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's refuge, this was absolutely not time for passivity. And the reason why we managed to find and kill Baghdadi is because of we had a strong military and because of our leadership and because of the courage of our troops. If Amash was President, Baghdadi would have been still alive today and more Americans would be dead today.

So the choice of this race is either we move backwards in the dark years marked by big government and strong terrorist threat that caused the death of several Americans or we keep moving forward through the promotion of free market, free enterprise and small government and through a stronger military and stronger alliances that will bring peace through strength. That's why I call on you to go to the polls and ensure the continuation of your bright future.

Thank you. God bless the United States of America.

[Crowd cheers and applauds]
