Depeche Mode are a synth driven group who have been nominated by the Hall many times. Synth groups are usually looked on poorly, but these guys are a big exception. Most people (including myself) wouldn't complain too loudly if they got in, as they have enough people who like at least a few of their songs.

Does Atlas feel the synths, or do they need fashion tips?

Their music is good, but lacks variety. It's monochromatic as it were. So after. couple of songs, I'm done, because I am bored.

Massive Freedom Band, Depeche Mode are one of my all time favorite bands. I hope they make it into the Hall of Fame.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame seems to discriminate against early 80's New Wave bands. It's a shame they don't give bands like Depeche Mode a fair shake. I guess the goofy haircuts and outfits of the time discredits them among most Rock and Roll fans.

Great band.

I saw them two years ago on tour.

Unlike a lot electronic acts whose sound weakened when transitioning from analog to digital synth they sounded better post digital age.

Behind the Wheel (Shep Pettibone Remix) is my all time favorite DM tune
