Yes, due to cataracts too nascent to have removed for the time being. Sad!

Got told I had fine vision, but needed them for long periods reading to stop my eyes from straining but generally use them for the computer as well.

Has anyone else found that they now struggle to read menu's, and other day to day stuff? It's getting to the extent where I need to carry my glasses around with me

Glasses. Just can't get a contact in my eye without something wrong occurring.

To quote myself, glasses are the sexiest part of the human body. I just added two gorgeous pairs to my collection today, and I hope to add 3 more in January. I wish I didn't have a vision impairment for the uber expensive lens part though Tongue

Prescription glasses, had them as long as I can remember.

Interesting to note, while 60% of Atlasians (as of now, in this thread) say that they wear glasses, if you go over to PAPOY almost no one wears glasses...

I wear prescription glasses to drive (though they are not required) or walk outside when I want to take in the view. I don't wear then for activities indoors or working on a computer. I do also have reading glasses if I need to do close work for an extended period.

Most of my family is either nearsighted or farsighted and wears either glasses or contacts.  I'm nearsighted and wear prescription glasses.  (And since it's in my genes, I'm pretty sure I was screwed no matter what.)  I've done it since I was eight, but I have to go to my eye doctor every two years for a checkup and an update on my prescription, which typically means a new pair of specs.  I actually think my nearsightedness is progressive, because I can't see distant objects as well now as I could when I got my first pair of glasses.  I've thought about getting Lasik or some other corrective surgery somewhere down the line (preferably once I'm past 30), but I've also heard that those surgeries often require you to wear reading glasses as you get older anyway.

Glasses. I'm very nearsighted. I tried contacts for about a month a couple of years ago, but they irritated my eyes constantly. Now I accept the four-eyed way of life Smiley.
I'm the same way.  I've never worn contacts but have no desire to do so--I'm not too comfortable with the idea of putting things in my eyes and taking them out again.  And glasses can be a nice fashion statement too.  #NeverContacts

Near sighted, contacts. 3.75 in my right eye and 4.5 in my left.

Neither, my eye sight is roughly equivalent to that of an owl.

Sure do! Contacts, preferably, with glasses as a backup.

Mine was 20/13 when I was younger but it has probably worsened slightly.

Glasses

I have quite a bad flinching problem, so putting my fingers so close to my eyes never usually works out

I just recently got contacts(within the last two weeks), and I have to say: it’s really, really hard not to blink too much or too soon.

I have perfect vision according to doctor. Actually, I never knew that such a high percentage of people wear glasses/contacts.

I have both. Contacts are more aesthetic, but glasses are more convenient.
