I doubt it...most of the people who won't vote for a candidate because he's divorced likely wouldn't be voting Dem anyway, and something like 55% of marraiges end in divorce now so in some ways it makes him look like a common man (lol.)  But seriously I don't think it would be an issue in a campaign.

But the first lady has become an institution in American politics.  What would the country do without one?

I didn't think of that.  It would be strange, certainly, but I hope it wouldn't effect his candidacy.

The million dollar question... Does Feingold's divorce make him 'unelectable'?

Reagan's didn't, although as a conervative he got away with things like that in the public's mind.

Of course not! The voters who care about these superficial displays of double-standard morals aren't Feingold voters to begin with. Feingold is a smart man, and if he plays his cards right he can turn this into a real plus.

The poll results are very telling.

While Hillary is the frontrunner nationally, the only candidates that have the ability to knock her off will be Russ Feingold, Evan Bayh, or Mark Warner.

Everyone else is just competing for the VP spot (Richardson, Vilsack, Biden).

29 votes are a small sample.

Reagan was married when he won, however.  I don't believe Feingold is.  That could hurt him.

If we get a sample of 100 then we have a fair idea of whos the frontrunner.

Russ Feingold gets my vote. He's a progressive and the Republican Party are moving this country backwards.

How has your life improved since 2000. Clintons presidency saw a greater development of America both economically and socially. Budh has failed to improve the state of this country.

That is true, but the results of this poll mesh with an article I was reading the other day. Political analyst Tim Saler gave an interview where he said that only Russ Feingold, Evan Bayh, and Mark Warner have any shot to knock off Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination (and he gave legitimate reasons why).

Here is a link to the article:

I'm back...Organic Chemistry has kept me sufficiently occupied for the past two wks.

Warner, of course.  And as his VP I'd choose Blanche Lincoln, Mary Landrieu, Evan Bayh, or Brad Henry.
