Just wanted to let everyone know John Tester has a new blog: Tester Time!  Check it out.

Side note:  Pearl Jam is hosting a John Tester for Senate event tonight in Missoula.

Tester won't win the primary anyway, John Morrison will crush him and then go on to narrowly defeat Burns in the general.

Why does everyone here think Burns is vulnerable?  Is he unpopular?

A poll was issued about 4 months ago that had his re-elect number at 36%.  Since then his numbers have risen.  He's full of scandal and has broken his promise to only serve two terms.  Schweitzer's success against Burns in 2000 proved that given the right candidate this race can be competitive.  In 2004 Montana elected a Democratic governor for the first time in a long time and we took over the state legislature.  I think Tester can make this race competitive.  He gives off the same vibe as Schweitzer.  Morrison doesnt stand a chance.

I'll take a fighting chance at a MT senate seat any time I can get it, although I'm not counting on a victory here.

Thanks for the informative summary.

Do you take all of your articles directly from MyDD and SwingStateProject?  Because this is where they're all coming from.

The last poll I read on MT Senate was taken by a Billings news paper and showed Tester losing by 16% and Morrisson by even more.

You haven't realized yet that that's all Nick ever does? He'll post an article from either of those two sites (or maybe another) that makes the Dems look like they've got the race won or could pick it up and defends it.

I find majority of them at Swing State Project and Our Senate.  Some even come from RedState.org.  They are usually the first to post articles regarding 2006.

I try to keep this section and 2008 active.  Its what interests me.  I post pro-Republican stuff too.  Of all people YOU should not be trying to paint ME as a hack.

And how am I a hack?

I admit Rendell is more likely to win in 2006 than any of the Republicans. I admit Casey is more likely to win in 2006 than Santorum. I admit PA 13 will stay Dem unless Castor runs in 2006.

How am I a hack?

You shouldnt have attacked me for posting articles.  I post articles that are pro-Republican too.  I try to keep this forum and 2008 active because its what interests me and seems to interest most people on this forum.  Without me the 2006 and 2008 section wouldnt be nearly as active.  Of course Im a little partisan in what I post, but who isnt?

Actually you have those numbers mixed up the poll showed:

Burns          49%
Morrison      34%
Undecided   17%

Burns          50%
Tester         26%
Undecided   24%
