What if Northam actually had a 17% lead a week ago? The exit polls showing him winning the late breakers by a large margin kind of says otherwise though.

That poll was weird.

If only the same amount of republicans showed up as was in 2013 then it would had been a 15-17% margin. The last two weeks where republicans became interested in the race probably made that double digit lead go down to 9%.
