This poll gives Trump a 45% approval rating in Virginia and 54% disapproval.
Perhaps we can all agree that Gillespie will match Trump's approval meeting in Virginia on Election Day, and if we believe Trump's substantially more popular in Virginia than the nation as a whole that Gillespie can ride race-baiting and moonlight and magnolias to victory, and if Trump isn't at 45% approval, maybe he'll struggle.
