This poll is bad but I strongly think that Northam and Co. will win quite easily next Tuesday, especially after the Trump campaign bomb that dropped today.

I previously thought Northam+3, but I guess it will be Northam+10 now ...

This could be the case if G's gutter campaign is alienating NoVa while attracting very few rural voters. However, for now I'll say that it will be upper single digits for Northam.

Only one week left, so it won't be long before we see which polls were right.

It probably won't be this lopsided, but with the breaking news on the investigation this morning, I think my prediction of Northam+9 might not be so unreasonable any more.

I'm not even going to dignify this incredible outlier of a poll with a serious reaction. But what'd be the reaction on Atlas if Gillespie somehow eeked out a win?

I would probably cope with the madness by laughing my head off. Gillespie is exactly the candidate who could pull it off, considering how close he came to taking Warner's head.

Either Quinnipiac is seeing something nobody else is seeing or they're gonna look mighty stupid next week.

Well, so much for Ds outperforming their polling average here, lol. Anyway, this poll is almost certainly garbage from an absolutely terrible pollster, but it's really looking as if Gillespie is doomed (and probably never had a chance to begin with, even if Clinton had won).

If some of these polls are accurate, Doug Jones in AL definitely has a better chance of winning his race than Ed Gillespie. Republicans should stop contesting any statewide or federal race here if Gillespie loses by more than 3. If it's closer than that, you can at least blame it on the fact that it's an off-year election and the D base is energized, but if not it's probably the best to triage this state and focus on keeping NC, FL and TX competitive. GA and AZ are probably doomed for the GOP in the long term and VA is headed the way of MD.

If it's just the gubernatorial race that swings hard to the Democrats, that'd be one thing. But if the VAGOP loses the House of Delegates, the ballgame is done for them.

The true race on November 7th? Quinnipiac vs. Hampton.

Both will lose.

If Northam loses its time to send Quinnipiac to the grave. Holy sh**t.

Hope this is the margin, should provide some nice comfort for Dems in state to do what they want.

This won't be the margin. It will be between 2 and 5 points.

I'm not on the ground or anything but I'm expecting at least a 2016 margin.

Disappointing to see polling companies still underpolling Northam support. He'll win with by at least 20%.

Remember the combined Democratic v Republican primary totals? Democrats had a YUUGEE lead. Maybe this poll isn't far off, I think Northam will win by a minimum of 10 points.
