Socially conservative "rages" by progressive posters?

Are there any people here who normally have liberal views but are subject to occasional brief "rages" in which they acquire extremely socially conservative politics?

About once every week or so, this happens to me for about a half-hour at a time. This has been going on since about 2001.

You start getting really mad and start babbling incoherently. It happens late at night right before bed. It's as if the demons have eaten your soul. None of the beliefs of this condition are actually expressed, let alone on any message board, because the "rage" makes one incapable of sitting at the computer long enough to express it.

Is this some sign of a physical illness when people do this?

No, but if you are babbling to yourself, you may wish to take some medication or lay off of it a bit, and see a doctor, since it probably may be effected by the fact that you said your parents dropped you on your head a lot (which isn't a good thing).

No.  The RNC has planted chips in your brain that make you do this.  Unfortunately for them, the chips are in BETA testing, so they don't work for long periods of time.  In ten years, they will have this 'think chip' down pat and then everyone will be a conservative, ensuring GOP domination until the end of time.

It's about on par with, say, a dictator in a repressive government. I get the feeling that I should round people up and torture them to carry out political goals. I truly feel as if I am utterly losing my mind.

I think it must be some type of seizure disorder or something. I think it must be more of a medical issue than a psychological one.

This thread made a lot more sense at 4 AM than it does in the middle of the day.

That happened to me once.  I dove into a pool not knowing it as only 48 degrees warm.  Ouch.

This is normal.  Do not attempt to adjust your set.  Most call it "aging"

You will find that many things piss you off now that didn't before.  Deal with it.
