Well TIL Knocked Loose are not anti-Christian! Their lyrics that could be interpreted as such are actually just anti-Catholicism, because Bryan was raised Catholic (which some people find surprising because Kentucky, but of course there's plenty of Catholics in the Louisville area), but today he said he basically does believe in the Christian God, he just isn't actively practicing, but he thinks actively organized churches are generally a disgrace and completely feels that way about the Catholic church. And that is what the "With my final breath/I deny the church" lyric on their latest album refers to, the "church" is just the Roman Catholic Church and not all of Christianity! Basically he's similar to Marisa from Mannequin Pussy in this regard.

And it's great to learn this now because I see them tomorrow, now I can mosh without anything bothering me!
