So when this asswipe happens to have a financial interest in a repressive genocidal right wing regime(Liberia) not a word.
Free speech my ass advocating murder in the name of Jesus is just wrong.

Hate to admit it, but he's right.  It would be a hell of a lot cheaper to "take out" Chavez then to go to war with Venezuela.

Then it is not terrorism, but something else. By definition, terrorism involves instilling fear into a society. Equating bullying to terrorism, on whatever scale, is rather ridiculous.

3) What kind of Christian programming calls for death?  Seriously man.  Roberts is sounding more and more like a psycho extremist Imam.  Imagine some Islamic tv show where the host (a supposed man of God) were on there calling for the assassination of one of his country's political enemies.  We'd be asking "where are the other Muslim leaders to condemn this".

First, it's Robertson, not "Roberts."  :-)

Second, he's losing it.  Look at this quote from the article:

Why is this man still allowed on the air?

Everyone should be allowed on the air.  You know that, he can say whatever the hell he wants.  We all know he's a crazy fool and should ignore him, but he can say whatever he desires.

Pat Robertson is very right on this. The best thing the US could do would be to finish off any communist.

How Christian of him.

http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2005-08-22-robertson-_x.htm

Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson called on Monday for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, calling him a "terrific danger" to the United States.

Lock and Load Mr. Robertson.

Certain ironies in a man of God calling for an assassination as well as liberals going over the deep-end on this. Then again, Chavez is what we can think of as a Communist. And trampling Communism as well as Communists ain't such a bad idea.

Chavez is not a Communist, he's a Socialist, and a democratically elected one at that.

To label him a Communist is deliberately false.

Not in my book, Scoonie, and as you know, Hitler was a democratically elected socialist too.

Haha, no Scoonie. Chavez is a modern day Communist ala Castro. To say otherwise is categorically false.

How exactly is he a Communist? There is a difference between communism and socialism.

From Wikipedia:

"On 30 January 2005 at the World Social Forum in Porto Alegre, Brazil, Chávez declared his support for democratic socialism, in his words "a new type of socialism, a humanist one, which puts humans and not machines or the state ahead of everything." [14] He later reiterated this in a February 26 speech at the 4th Summit on the Social Debt held in Caracas. [15] To charges from business leaders that Chávez is eroding private property rights, and from the Roman Catholic cardinal that he was becoming a dictator, he said that Venezuelans must choose between "capitalism, which is the road to hell, or socialism, for those who want to build the kingdom of God here on earth."
