I've been debating it with myself for a long time and I've finally made a decision.

I'll run to retain my seat in the Southern Chamber of Delegates

I'm withdrawing this candidacy and running for Lincoln's Senate seat instead in the February 15th election

Peebs and I are no longer accepting write-ins for President/VP in February.

Sad to hear, that would have been a formidable ticket

Well, sh**t I guess I'll run in my recall election.

Uh, the South doesn't have special elections after recalls. The recall is just a straight "Yes/No" vote.

While I expect you to fully go down in flames after what has happened, if you at least want to fight the recall you should start drafting a campaign thread.

And why am I giving you advice?

I am running for president with MB as my running mate

Only really doing this so we have an actual Labor primary tbh, but I will promise I'll properly run for president against YT and serve as president if we somehow win

I'm running for the Lincoln house of representatives.

Worth noting that there will be a couple special elections coming. First of all, there is a special election scheduled for this weekend (starting tomorrow lol), to fill the seat beloning formerly to Wazza, who got automatically expelled for inactivity. While it is too late to enter that election, you could still run as a write-in if you desire.

There will also be another election for the seat left vacant by PyroTheFox, once he leaves for the Senate. I believe that election should start on September 13th, though others have it starting on September 6th? (either way, it's further away).

So you might want to file for either special election (or both) on top of the October general election.

Are there any candidates for the election starting tomorrow?

Yes, Pragmatist_TNAG (Labor) is running unopposed. But nothing is stopping you from declaring a write-in challenge if you desire.

Running for Atlasia House of Representatives for Lincoln

For the record, the House of Representatives is elected at-large (or do you mean you are running for the regional legislature?)

I am running for Lincoln Council in the upcoming election.
Please tell me Labor why you didn't have someone run when I asked for someone to run to ensure a 5 member Council.

Uh no?

Quote
6. Candidates for governor, Council and federal Senate must declare their candidacy in the appropriate thread, on the Wednesday preceding the election at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start of any regularly scheduled election

Haven't 48 hours already passed?

Elcaspar declared on the morning of October 20th, so 48 hours would be the morning of October 22nd (all times on my timezone, which I have offset from Atlas time)

The election starts at 12:00 AM so 48 hours- equals 10/20

Well, 12 hour time always confuses me, so I will use 24h time (didn't even know you could set up the Atlas clock like that!). I will also temporarily switch to Atlas time on my settings.

Elcaspar declared on the 20th of October, at 04:50.

48 hours later means the 22nd of October, at 04:50.

So Elcaspar should be in the ballot as 48 hours have passed?
