I officially declare my candidacy for the Lincoln Assembly.

I'm officially ending my candidacy.

Damn, now there's only one candidate running for Lincoln Assembly.

I am running for Class II Senator for Fremont this December.

No, I am running for Class II Senator for Fremont this December
You do get this is Sestak's seat, right?

You bet your buns I do and I'm gonna run for your seat next

You do get we're colleagues, right? We're both Centre Party members. We're supposed to sort of work together sort of across federal party lines sort of.

Regional parties are practically meaningless.

I mean, they do matter a little bit in the regional legislatures.

News to me. A year ago the only person who cared about regional parties was justintimecuber (RIP).

So what's triggered this "special" election?

The entire Lincoln Assembly was recalled for inactivity so there is a special election to replace them.

Oh! Thanks for telling.

Never mind, I'm in then. I suppose

Wouldn't hurt to advance democracy here

Unfortunately, you will be unable to vote in the election this weekend, as players in Lincoln must be registered 168 hours (7 days) prior to the start of the election (Friday), as written in the Lincoln Constitution. As such, you would probably not receive any votes. I would recommend waiting until the regular Assembly election in December.

I will be dropping out of the clown car race, but staying in the Class II race this December.

As a result of this unfortunate decision, I will also be accepting write in votes for Canis Senate in.

You are not a resident of Fremont and are thus not eligible for the office in question, so any write-ins for you in this election would be considered invalid via the Electoral Procedures Codification Act of 2017.

Has anyone contacted RoyCooper about this? Since he's a new player, it's possible that he's not familiar enough with the Constitution to know that he needs to run in the special election to keep his seat.

Given the special has a peace candidate, I assume you're going for the regular election, correct?

Isn't RoyCooper the only one declared in the special?

As I've got an extremely busy patch coming up in my life, and I'm not entirely sure how I could juggle Atlas into it, I am formally withdrawing myself from Ninja's presidential ticket and suspending (not withdrawing) my campaign for Lincoln Assembly. I will post an update when I'm more free.

Sad Was looking forward to coloring Washington in blue on the presidential map

If I aint banned I attend to run for governor of the south. I have some ideas you might find interesting!

As chair of the ACP, I speak for myself and my party in that we will not back you. The Federalists will likely not back you. Nor the Confederates. Nor Labor.

I echo this statement on behalf of the Federalist Party.
