In my honest opinion it is either Princess Diana or Catharine Princess of Wales since both of these royals are hard working, youthful, charismatic and just very fashionable for royal standards.

Princess Anne also stands out as the poster child of a hard working no nonsense royal known for her love of horses.

I don't know the best British female royal, but I do know that the best British Royal family ruled from 1485-1603. For all of the belief that the royals are nothing but stuffy elitists, this royal family were the first to conduct one on one teaching...they were the original Tudors.

This. Anne promotes the monarchy and the tourism, she does over 200 engagements a year, she is more hard working than her brothers and nephews.

You're forgetting a lot of other women: Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh (Edward's wife), Princess Alexandra of Kent (Charles' cousin) and Princess Michael of Kent (Charles' cousin-in-law)
