The problem with "Strange will consolidate an anti-Moore coalition" is that 68% of Alabamians polled described themselves as 'evangelical Christians'. Moore is exactly what they want.

Even among non-evangelicals Strange has a 3 point lead but Moore has a 30 point lead with evangelicals (58 to 28). In other words, Moore is exactly the guy-with-principles Alabama wants to destroy Mitch McConnell, giving one more anti-McConnell vote.

And the thing about this is - Strange has already spent millions putting his name out and trashing other candidates. It's getting him nowhere.

and now that President Trump's preferences seem more muddled, Strange is in even more danger.
