Preferably, you would base your choice of favorites on qualities that'd make you want to live there, like the quality of life, politics, culture, climate, geography, and so on.

Nunavut and Northwest Territories, though I hate it how the line that splits the two is so arbitrary

The ignorance towards Alberta is appalling.

Politics: Alberta
Places I'd want to visit: Québec, Ontario, British Columbia
Places I'd want to live: Alberta, Ontario, Québec (on condition it didn't split from Canada, in particular Montréal), British Columbia

I like every Canadian Province. I'd live in BC, though, and wouldn't live in the far north or in Quebec.

British Columbia (Vancouver is one of the most appealing cities in the world)
Ontario
Nova Scotia

The ignorance towards Alberta is appalling.

I'm pretty far left myself, but I find Alberta preferable to Quebec (and that's not due to the current provincial governments).
