2017-2021: Donald Trump/Mike Pence
2021-2029: Ron Wyden/Stacey Abrams

2020: Wyden defeated Elizabeth Warren, Bill De Blasio, Kamala Harris, Keith Ellison, and Tulsi Gabbard in the primaries. Trump, who only lost ME and VT to Amash in the primaries, had an approval rating of 43%. It had gone up since Collins-Cassidy was passed in 2019, with Cruz, Lee, Cotton, and Tillis voting against it, but fifteen Democrats voting for it.

368: Ron Wyden/Stacey Abrams
170: Donald Trump/Mike Pence

2024: Wyden easily defeated Ellison in the primaries, getting less than 60% only in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, and Iowa. On the Republican side, Governor Chris Sununu triumphed over Senator Sasse, Senator Quayle(elected in a special election in 2019, and re-elected in 2022), Senator Paul, and Senator Love.

288: Ron Wyden/Stacey Abrams
250: Chris Sununu/Mia Love

In 2028, Love loses the primaries to Texas Governor George P. Bush. Senator Quayle and Representative Amash drop out rather early, but Governor Tisei keeps ahold of the moderate flank with the endorsement of New York Governor Elise Stefanik. On the Democratic side, Abrams triumphed over Governor Pete Buttigieg, a moderate elected Governor in 2020, Senator Zephyr Teachout, a rather radical Senator who primaried Schumer in 2022, and Representative Hakeem Jeffries, who didn't win despite the implicit support of Speaker Bustos.

Wyden's accomplishments:
Unemployment: 9.2%->3.8%
Inflation: 5.9%->1.2%
Budget Balanced
Basic Income Replaced Most Welfare
National Sales Tax of 7.5%
Minimum Wage at $12.50
Landing men on Mars and Moon - plans for base on Moon by 2032, and Mars by 2040
Approval Rating: 59% Approve/36% Disapprove
Favorability: 64% Approve/31% Disapprove

Notably, however, Texas, Georgia, and Indiana are three of the top five states that have seen their economies improve.
