Sanders will win. Already the most popular politician in the country so obviously he isn't some far-left crazy wacko that the country despises.

His idealology is, though. http://www.gallup.com/poll/183713/socialist-presidential-candidates-least-appealing.aspx

If Bernie is the nominee, I hope we lose.

So was Reaganomics in the 70's, back when price controls on gas was a concept to be debated.

We don't want breadlines in the US, thanks.

Kamala Harris has been growing in momentum ever since the Session hearings. I believe the nomination will go to her. She will haul in more delegates than Hillary could in the south and the west.

Presuming in question that Clinton does not run again, Yes she will get a great deal of the 2016 Clinton primary coalition unless Biden runs.

Harris might well win the primary (especially if Tulsi doesn't run), but she won't win the general. Trump's populist posturing will carry the day in flyover country.

Yes she will get a great deal of the 16 Clinton primary coalition unless Biden runs.
The Clinton 2016 primary coalition was, like Bill Clinton's in 1992, heavily dependent on southern Whites and retirees. Why would Harris win them?

Are you capable of a rational argument against Bernie and his supporters, or are you just going to keep strawmanning us?

Depends on a few things with the party and the DNC itself. So many possible candidates as well.

Democrats lean toward an establishment Democrat - Gillibrand, Booker, Caroline Kennedy. Julian Castro, Biden.

Bernie runs a campaign, even with any and all opponents - Bernie.

Democrats lean toward someone who's not exactly corporate but not progressive either - Gabbard or Harris.

I agree with Timmy and I don't think Biden or Sanders will run.  If I'm wrong about that, it would completely change the dynamic of the race and I'm not sure who would win.

Assuming they don't, I think the most likely nominee at this point is Harris, although it's so early at this point that most predictions are sorta meaningless.  We'll know a lot more in 18 months once we've gone through more of the "invisible primary."

(This is my pick for most likely nominee, not necessarily whom I personally like the most or think would be the strongest general election candidate)

I really don't think Biden or Sanders will run so would rule them out immediately.

I would expect Terry McAuliffe, Martin O'Malley, Steve Bullock, Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker to run as well as John Delaney who is running.

Would expect Warren to win in that line up with Booker in a close second.
