In a 2014 speech regarding the War on Terror, Kelly said:

"If you think this war against our way of life is over because some of the self-appointed opinion-makers and chattering class grow ‘war weary,’ because they want to be out of Iraq or Afghanistan, you are mistaken. This enemy is dedicated to our destruction. He will fight us for generations, and the conflict will move through various phases as it has since 9/11."

I'm pretty happy. John Kelly is a good man.

But yeah, just taking him out of a job he only had for 6 months is a little silly.

John Kelly will be forced out sooner or later.

He may be a good man, but the problems start with Trump. He is an incompetent fool, who isn't mentally fight to run a cat house, let alone the country.

Any word on whether Priebus (And for that matter, Kelly?) just got this news the same way we did?

Preibus lost his job, his hairline, and his dignity working for Trump

Not sure he had much dignity to begin with, but anywho...

Yeah, I remember he was the one who declared Trump the GOP nominee back in May '16. He ran a steamroller over the NeverTrumpers.

About the same length as the employment contracts at Mar-a-Lago.

That's what happens when you accept a job from Trumpster. Anyone who puts themselves in that position is NUTS!

Trump demands loyalty but never gives it in return. Creepster-in-chief.

Maybe Priebus can run against Tammy Baldwin.  But, these moves are very unsettling.

LOL. Kelly is not an extremist, as shown by the fact he was confirmed 89-11.
