While this poll is geared mainly towards Democrats, there are open primaries so I have opened it to non-Democrats as well.

Bernie is a great guy, but Joe is much more electable. Biden also understands how the system works much better. Bernie is rather uncompromising on many issues, while Biden is much more pragmatic.  Bernie wouldn't accomplish many of his goals without a YUGE majority in both the house and the Senate.

I voted for Bernie, but I'd be happy with either one tbh.

I'm an independent, but I'd love to see Biden win

Ideologically I probably lean towards Bernie a bit more, but Biden seems much more electable to me (not that that's a dig at Bernie - I think Biden is more electable than just about any other potential candidate). I would be perfectly happy with either of them, but I just want to make sure we nominate someone who can win, so I narrowly voted for Biden.

The one that doesn't croak over and die before the California primary.

Biden and Bernie are the same age lol

That's why it would be a legit contest.  Either one of them can win this contest.  Biden vs. Sanders: Whichever one doesn't die by primary day gets Timmy's vote.

My best guess:
Green = Sanders
Yellow = Biden

Sanders victory

This plus Ohio and maybe Arizona

Possibly. I think Bernie 2020 could be like Trump 2016 in the sense that lots of other good candidates run too but at the end of the day Bernie basically runs away with it

They said the same about Hillary

Biden is a man

Some people, sure. I, for one, didn't, considering the baggage she had.

Biden is much more electable than Hillary was IMO.

And they were correct. Bernie would have lost by even more. They also didn't expect Comey to take the unprecedented measure he did. (Not saying that Hillary didn't have massive flaws). But she probably would have won without the whole letter.

Love both of them but I'd have to go with Biden. He is much more knowledgeable about the way to run things what with being Veep for 8 years. As much as I was a "Bernie Bro" in 2016, I just don't think he would have what it takes to be the leader of the free world.

Biden is the best American politician alive besides Manchin and Bullock. Bernie is good, but sorry.

Biden is a poor candidate electability wise, he is a slightly improved version of Clinton at best. Moderate on gay rights, abortion rights, TPP supporting, Patriot act supporting, bullish on capital punishment, drugs, Iraq war supporting gaffe machine & is prone to making racial & sexist comments as a joke (without meaning to).

This will be wild ride with 2 major candidates making crazy remarks (ofcourse Biden is not at Trump level). Biden is the ultimate establishment guy & he feeds the Trump narrative ! Biden is very easy to debate for Trump - Put his Iraq War, TPP, Establishment record & he won't enthuse the progressive base with his terrible record, possible record low turnouts !

I'm leaning Biden because I don't want the Ctrl-Left to gain any more power even though I'm still closer to Bernie ideologically.

Joe should be favored, but I don't think a many young Berniecrats know that Joe is pretty much identical to, or more conservative than, Hillary on the issues.
