They thought Dubya was a dumb redneck, but then 9/11 changed their mind. The recession and Iraq turned them against the GOP, but their situation didn't improve in four years. Trump's populism appealed to them.

I think somebody from Wisconsin who started liked Gore but voted for Bush in 2004 after supporting him after 9/11. Then in 2008 voted for Obama after feeling disappointed with bush after the recession. Then voted for Romney when he selected Ryan as his VP and later voted for trump reluctantly when Hillary was the nominee.

Clinton Moderate and Foreign policy hawk. They voted for Gore due to him being Clinton's Vice President but 9/11 led to them voting on Foreign Policy in 2004 which led them to vote for Bush. This Person is a member of the middle class and was doing well for most of bushes second term until the Great Recession occurred in which that person was hit hard. They voted in 2008 based on the Economy which led them to vote for Obama. The Situation for him/her got better and he/she were able to recover however began to grow disgusted by the extreme Liberalism and regulation they though Obama was doing which led them to vote for Romney in 2012. They then voted for Trump in 2016 due them seeing Clinton as another Obama and either more extreme or someone who would continue Obama Legacy so they voted for Trump instead.
