Calling Sanders supporters, #BernieOrBusters, self-identified progressives, Hillary lefties, etc. Who would you vote for if you had to choose.

On the backs of those who will suffer the most from Trump's second term?

So, vote Democrat no matter what they do or how you feel about them, otherwise you don't care about the underprivileged (which technically includes my family and me, being poor)? Yeah, not buying it. Try again.

I'm not sure if they do or not. But I obviously meant in the GE.

But the question was about the primary.

I mean it's not really a debatable type of thing. Look at the judiciary, appointment of Sessions, DeVos, etc. But most importantly, look at the judiciary and SCOTUS. One's choice to live in the land of make believe that there isn't a stark difference judicially between mainline Democrats and Trump does not negate the fact that another term of Trump means more Trumpian judges.

Booker, no question. I'd probably vote for Booker if Sanders ran again as well.

Green probably, though I could be persuaded to vote for one of the smaller parties like PSL

At least Cuomo has a strong record. I can't think of any major legislation Booker is responsible for.

Not a fan of either one, but if I have to choose, Cuomo.

Cuomo. They're both patent opportunists who lack a defined set of ideals, but at least Cuomo is up front about it.

Of the two, I would also trust Cuomo more to try and reign in the influence of big money in politics, especially if he thinks it will get him more votes; I don't feel comfortable saying the same about Booker.

I can't see a primary without a progressive happening in 2020. If these are the only options, I'd easily vote for Cuomo. To be honest I'd much rather vote for O'Malley over either of them.

Booker at least seems better than average on criminal justice reform. Cuomo has nothing going for him.

If I were a progressive (don't worry I didn't vote) I would probably pick Cuomo: governor going on his third term with education accomplishments and $15 an hour minimum wage among other accomplishments

As a New Yorker, I have no real problem with Cuomo as my governor. To tell a short anecdote, back in 2011, I was having difficulties cobra-ing onto my health insurance; no matter how many calls I made or letters I sent, I couldn't get on. Out of desperation, I mailed a letter to Cuomo. Within 72 hours of my sending the letter, my health insurance provider called to apologize and get my coverage continued. For that alone, I'm happy to vote for Cuomo for governor for the foreseeable future.

But for president? Booker on electability alone, if those were my two choices. A lot of Cuomo's activity- particularly the SAFE Act, are toxic to rural voters and Trump Democrats.  Both Booker and Cuomo are too corporate for my taste, and represent an East Coast, Ivy League form of liberalism that that Democrats have to move beyond if they want to make a persuasive case to the heartland.

Either is fine. I'd vote for whoever had a better chance to beat Trump, which I suspect as of today would be Booker.

It's not necessarily that you don't care about them, but doing anything other than voting for the Democratic nominee in a presidential election is a selfish dick move.

No, Hillary wasn't everything we ever dreamed of, but the poor are far worse off today compared to where they would be under Hillary. Obviously if Stein had even a 0.1% chance of winning the general election we could reconsider, but until that happens, you gotta suck it up and vote Democratic.

We'd lose with either of these people as the nominee. Cuomo is too shady a character, and Booker's charisma is unbelievably overhyped.

I'd vote Cuomo since as one user stated, he has progressive accomplishments.

Vote for a protest candidate in the primary, either toss my vote if I lived in a safe state or sigh and vote Dem if in a swing state.

As with 2016, I would care a lot more about the downballot.
