Elizabeth Warren is a walking dumpster fire. As someone who actually does hate the president, the case for him making fun of someone who had palsy is ambiguous at best, and the video evidence is out there for everyone to see. This line didn't work during the campaign, and for Warren to call him "hateful" over it is just another step in her self-Pelosification. Where's the Warren of 2011 back? The sad thing is, I'll probably end up supporting her for the nomination since she's far better than Gabbard or Harris, and Sanders and Biden are too old. Every politician who wants to be Democratic nominee should spend at least 15 minutes per day on YouTube.

Someone else brought it up. And there was a poll that showed it was the thing Trump did that had the strongest disapproval, even among his supporters. So I don't think calling it hateful is going to hurt her at all. You are probably right that, in general, being partisan alienates true swing voters but it probably help in the primaries which you have to win for the former to even matter.

All these are true imo. We can agree about his personality, but sadly there are many Americans who dont think we should be talking like this at all about politicians. I think we ought to make sure we can stay electable while balancing the demands of our base
