Earlier I had asked about a Harris vs. Booker vs. Biden primary map - now I'm curious how you think Harris and Biden would do 1-on-1 (no one else receives more than 3% in Iowa and everyone else has dropped out by NH).

My prediction...

Former VP/Sen. Joseph Biden (50.2%)
Sen. Kamala Harris (48.7%)

I think Biden would win that one.

✓ Former Vice President Joe Biden (D-DE): 54.2%
Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA): 43.9%

I may have added the state of New York to Joe Biden since it was under his watch as Vice-President of the United States that Osama Bin Laden, the perpetrator of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York, has been killed.

Biden wins IA and NH while Harris snags NV.  All eyes turn to SC, but Biden has enough Obama loyalists on his side to narrowly beat Harris.  Since SC was seen as a must-win for Harris to stay in the race, she drops out.  Biden is the presumptive nominee by the end of February.

I am not sure you can take that for granted. Harris was one of the earliest Obama supporters, I believe her friendship with him precedes his presidency. She worked on his 2008 Iowa campaign. Was cochair of his election campaign. It would be a tough fight and right now I would lean towards Biden but I don't think it's unreasonable to expect she might steal some of those votes. Especially if people have reservations about Bidens age.

Biden would get thumped in the huge metropolises just like Bernie did. As a lifelong resident of those places, identity politics sells and Harris is probably the best person to do that.

I think Democrats would go with Kamala, because she's a fresh new face.

Kamala Harris

Joesph R. Biden
