I think he's got a streak of older school, Nixon/Ford era type Republican. I think he's conservative economically and fiscally but maybe a tad to the left of McCain on social issues. Not real sure though - he hasn't been in long and he's dealing with very left of center people, so it might be hard to tell.

That's interesting, because no one in California does.  We like having electricity.  And we like our deficit being 1/3rd the size it was two years ago.
