indeed, but the federal government is getting increasingly involved in healthcare. Still, this is a Queensland state problem, and yes it is led by the ALP.

1. No, they are not neccesary for life, although some are necessary for quality of life (hip replacements, etc). 2. Yes, Richius used an extreme case of hyperbole.
