Anywho, I'll be trying to get things organized here shortly so we can keep things running as smoothly as possible and make the transition for the next Governor a very easy one.

I plan to fulfill my duties to keep things running as smoothly as possible for the time being.

I still have every intention to continue my campaign for the House of Representatives, and still intend to win.

In an effort to avoid conflicts of interest while I assume the role of acting Governor, I have asked the current Dean of the Chamber, JustinTimeCuber, to take on the role of acting Speaker until the conclusion of the gubernatorial special election.
