The current one is pretty much fair.   The Republicans have an advantage due to geography, but that's hard to overcome with boundary lines.

What will be interesting is the map in 2022 with the 2 extra districts.

Florida's 5th district is the only blatantly gerrymandered district IMO.

Might as well use this thread to ask this, does anyone know if this version of the 5th would pass court scrutiny?




It's not majority or even plurality black, but at 37% black and 59% Obama black voters would dominate the D primary and it'd be hard to see it ever electing anything other than a black Democrat.

I'd say something like this being formed after Florida gains two districts is a real possibility,  Alachua and the AA parts of Duval would be a great minority performing district.
